These are pricy but worth it. They make a huge difference in my dog’s anxiety. Especially useful for extra stressful moments like car rides or going to the vet. I always have a supply of these on hand.

My pitbull took this without a problem. My shih tzu took this and vomited multiple times from a single dose. Taste didn’t seem to be a problem, they will both eat anything I give them but the vomiting from the little one was NOT worth it. Gave the product 4 stars because it worked for one.

Tried giving one as a treat, he turned his nose to it. Tried breaking it and wrapping in cheese, he spit it out. Broke it up and put in his kibble and added wet food to it, he literally ate around those pieces and spit them outside of his bowl. Sad – I was really hoping this was going to be a game changer for him, sadly an expensive waste.

My nervous cattle dog has been on Composure Pro for about 3 yrs – his vet says it’s entirely safe to use along with the fluoxetine/Reconcile he takes and she even uses it for her nervous dog. When the new formula, the “advanced” formula came out. I immediately ordered it, but my dog will not have anything to do with it because of its flavor. Like another reviewer said, I have to pulverize it and disguise it in canned dog food. That’s a step I was Really hoping I wouldn’t have to deploy. I’ve never heard that dogs like lemon as a flavor and I can attest that my dog certainly doesn’t. Can you at least offer it in the original flavor or almost anything else??? My dog isn’t supposed to have anything chicken flavored but this had to be the exception Because the composure pro, chicken, flavored chew, worked pretty well. Now I’m really disappointed because I wanted the added benefit of the “Advanced formula”, but it looks like I have to go back to what my dog will eat. Even when I try to disguise the minced up Advanced formula chew, my dog turns and walks away from it most of the time. He’s totally onto me. I’m not alone in being Very Disappointed in this ridiculous lemon flavor that Vetri Science decided to use. PLEASE reconsider – how about almost ANYTHING else??!! Please???
