It’s fast, the light is bright, and it’s easy to use. It seems accurate enough. I like the general design, however am confused about why there is no protective case that comes with it. Every thermometer I’ve ever bought had some kind of cover for the sensor end.

This is our second one of these, the first one was well over 10 years old and worked really well. Unfortunately, I broke that one when replacing the battery. The new one is slightly smaller than our previous one and it also takes a few seconds longer to take your temperature. It still has the green, yellow and red light to tell you if you are normal or have a fever. My only complaint with the newer version is that it does not have a plastic storage case like our previous one did…likewise, this one is a slightly different shape, so it does not fit in the old case. Very happy with the purchase and would be again if needed.

I’ve been buying this brand of thermometers for years and I’ve always felt it was the best. But it always used to come with a little case, or maybe more like a sheath that the bottom part slid into to keep it clean. They also used to throw in a few disposable sheaths for use with multiple people. That, I don’t care too much about, but the fact that they’ve cheaped out and stopped including the plastic sheath is a real disappointment.
