I have been using another pomade for years and decided to give this Viking pomade a try. I have used the product for two weeks now, so I am not reviewing a product that just got delivered. The scent is clean and and lite, which is nice that it is not overpowering. The hold is excellent and keeps my hair in place over 10 to 12 hour work days. It does break down going to the gym after work, but that is expected for as much as I sweat. It’s a great value for the money and I will probably buy more Viking products to see how they hold up. Get this product!!! It is worth it!!!

This pomade is great. Styles in easy. Hold is strong, but not super strong. If you want an extreme hold, then get the extreme hold version of this brand. This product smells nice and stays in ALL day. You can recomb it as desired. Great for that slick back look. I would recommend this product.

I have normal hair that is capital “S” wavy. I wanted a fairly strong shine without having a super hold 1970’s helmet hair. Some people may be going more for hold than shine. For me the High hold water based products held like gel and pulled out lots of hair when applying and clumped the hair… … So, now Im leaning on oil based pomades. My hair seems to suck in the oils anyways so I’m not walking around looking like a oil mop all day. Putting in Argon oil and leave in conditioner pre pomade also helps leave a nice radiant shine.

I decided to try this pomade for the first time because I’m looking for a good pomade to switch to. It holds very well and lasts all day even after wearing a hat all the time I may have to fix my hair every so often but never have to apply more product until the next day but that’s because my hair is always messy after I sleep. The only thing I didn’t like about this was there was no scent whatsoever, I would like it to smell good like but that’s just me. Overall this is a very good product and I may purchase again.

This product works very well. It’s definitely on the firm side of pomades as they state. Wish they had a good scent though. The smell isn’t bad. But it’s almost non-existent . I personally like my pomades on the scented side but this one was not one of the . Pomade works great. Washes off easily, stays on your hair all day. But the scent was not there at all.

Great pomade, I have used this numerous times and it has a great shine and a very strong hold without being tacky or sticky. It has a pleasant smell and there is a lot of pomade in the container. Definitely a great price for this quality product.

This is my first time using Pomade of any kind, but I can honestly say it has been perfect for what I need.
My style is now slicked back (after years of shaving it all off ), and I have been using just a regular hairspray which never really gave the best results, but this stuff is absolutely perfect and I just wish I had found it earlier.

I’ve read comments where it’s “too thick” or “too sticky”. Well, it’s a pomade so it’s going to be thick, and it’s the stickiness that gives it great holding power; and pomades usually have a shine. The thing I like best (aside from the performance), is that it washes off hands and out of hair easily. A little goes a long way!!
If it’s too thick when applying, simply add a drop or two of water to your hands and rub. As for smell, I have allergies and I’m extremely sensitive to fragrances, and most products I purchase are unscented or fragrance-free. The scent is light and not over-powering and is tolerated well; I’ve had no issues.
Since I was impressed with the first jar I purchased, I’ve started buying other products from the Viking Revolution brand. So far, so good! They are considered a ‘local small business’ to me, which I also like to support.
