The shave soap is lightly scented. I like this. Not overpowering at all. With just a few swipes of the shave brush, you can generate quite a bit of foam. Rinses easily with no super oily residue. Paired with a decent adjustable double edge safety razor, this makes for an enjoyable shave.

It’s been a minute since I used a brush and shaving soap. Nice lather for a great shave with no nicks or gouges. Only needed one pass. A bit disappointed with the fragrance. I’ve only tried the Bay Rum Scent so far…I smell nothing. Not a deal breaker, still a fan.

It lasts a long time, it gives me a better shave than ANY of the canned gels or foams and because it comes in a packet of various fragrances, I don’t get burned out on any one of them.
