My girl loves these duck liver treats. I use it as a kibble topper. She won’t eat her kibble without her freeze dried duck liver. It’s an affordable addition to otherwise bland kibble that makes meal time more enjoyable. Anytime the bag is opened she comes running as they are highly desired.
I also use these treats for positive reinforcement of desirable behavior such as when she cooperates with groom time without nipping at the brush.
I just ordered the minnows so we’ll see if she likes those also. Vital makes all sorts of healthy options for your cat. Highly recommend.
Update Jan 26th, 2024
I did get the minnow option. I also got rabbit from a local shop by me. Minnow sadly is a no for my girl however they look exactly as described with all the organs and everything in them. The rabbit looks like pellets and hard to break. The rabbit for my girl is 50/50. I thought she’d like the treat given that I’ve been serving her freeze dried full meals from Primal Instinct brand she loves both dry and rehydrated cooked. I’m not sure what Vital is doing with the rabbit option as my girl isn’t the enthusiastic about eating it.
Duck treat is still her all time favorite freeze dried treat followed by Origin freeze dried raw lamb treat.
I’m still giving the options 5 star as I can’t expect my girl to love everything presented to her. It’s great if your fur baby loves the other flavors as Vital is reasonably priced for their options and highly desired.
Overall, I still highly recommend all of their treats.
Update 4/8/24
I decided to rehydrate the rabbit treat. In doing so I noted why it is so stiff. It’s got a tiny bone in it. Nothing wrong with this as it gives your cat more calcium. My cat is a princes sand doesn’t like working hard for her protein so she doesn’t eat this treat. She does like rabbit pate and the freeze dried meals of rabbit from both Primal and Vital Essentials.
I also recently got the salmon in store. My girl sadly doesn’t like salmon however another cat I previously sat for enjoyed this option. I passed the treat off to their owner who said their cat immediately took to the treat. I also passed off rabbit and the minnow to this cat to which he too denied their flavors. For him, these proteins is too exotic.
Still these are excellent treats for those whose pets actually like them. 5 of 5 stars all around.

These are my cats favorite treats ever!

My little cat really loves these minnow treats! Its the first thing she will eat when I put it on top of her kibbles. I’ve purchased this many times. Quality is always good. Packaging is resealable. Buy it!

These were bigger treats than I expected them to be and theyโre too big for my cat to enjoy as a whole so I usually cut it with kitchen shears into a few pieces. Theyโre really soft so itโs not hard to cut. They are SUPER oily though which is gross when I have to touch them to cut them up. But my kitty seems to love them!

I wanted to try something new with my cats so I got these as treats. One of my cats couldnโt care less, but the other is absolutely feral for them. He likes them so much. They are dried and flakey. Not too hard as well.

These are great. My cats love them. They are also easy to break up into smaller pieces in the bag – my cats don’t like the larger chunks. And, for me, they don’t smell bad like salmon or tuna ones do. It’s a pretty banal umami scent.

The minnows: My ginger cat loves them and gets very predatory when eating them, lol. One of the cats doesn’t care for it, however. I snuck it in with her other food, chopped up and mixed with gravy, and now she eats it but only chopped up. I noticed a change in her; she’s more playful. I will try more flavors for my pet. Chicken hearts: I cut them up with scissors for my cats; they are pretty big. The smell is raunchy, tho I wasn’t prepared for that. Due to the scent(chicken hearts), I might not repurchase it, but my cats love them, so I might have to suck it up.
Also, I noticed that since feeding them this for past weeks the coat on their fur sheds less.

in a way these treats are nasty but also… we love a company using less desirable meat products because that’s a big win for sustainability & ethically sourced meat. to my horror, all five cats I have fed this to have LOVED it. also to my horror, I always need to cut them up into small pieces and sometimes… they’re… oily? slightly wet? not sure how or why but I’ve experienced this with other freeze dried cat treats so this wasn’t a concern for me. so even though these aren’t my favorite to handle (I’m just a girl) I will keep buying these for my children because these are high quality, affordable, and great for my babies (listen if all FIVE of mine liked it, yours will too)

they were so good according to my cat, he loved them. he went nuts when he saw the bag.. he’s a very picky with his treats but not with these
butterflygirl –
My cats loved it! To bad it expires after 30 days tho

The product itself is fine, though there are hardly any pieces of heart for the price. Might be worth it for around 300 rupees and that would still be expensive — just check with your local butcher
Sono Gal –
A bit pricey, but the cats love this as special treat.

I gave my 2 cats this for the first time last week. At first they were very sceptical of the treats as theyโve never had them before but both of them LOVED it after staring at it for a bit. I am going to cut each treat in 2 from now on though (there are not a lot in the packaging) to try to make them last longer. This is not a big deal at all considering how big the treats are. I WILL be purchasing this again.
