This bed came in 2 separate vacuum tight bags that were packed in another plastic bag. Very practical for shipping, but bad for the environnement. Please recycle! Instructions (recommendations) were sent to me explaining how to handle the bed in orde for it to expand to full “puffiness”. Once expanded, my dog did not lose a second before jumping on it! She is a chocolate lab that weighs about 67lbs, and the bed seems perfect for her. One small note is that the bottom foam mattress makes a bit of noise when my dog moves around in the bed. I like the fact that we can clean the outer shell. A bit on the pricey side, but the quality is there!

Our aging dog loves this bed. This bed is very well made, and is soft, yet firm.Our dog rests very comfortably for hours a day in this bed. We purchased the 28x23x6.5 sized bed, and it’s the perfect size for our 27 pound Beagle!He can rest his head on the sides of the bed, and can easily get in and out of the bed. This bed looks so luxurious, and is beautiful in the same room with our brand new furniture. No smell to the bed, and it does not slide around on our hardwood floors. Was easy to set up. Haven’t had to wash the cover yet, but directions seem easy to follow. We would definitely purchase this dog bed again!
