This was an impulse buy when it popped into my suggested buys. I threw it up in the top of the closet for a few weeks, then had my 6- and 10-year-old grandkids (boy & girl) spend the weekend with me. At some point I wanted to get them away from video games but still keep them entertained so I pulled the box out, and they were both so excited! They spent 60-90 minutes making puppets (I didn’t realize how many were actually in the box), then a couple hours constructing a puppet theater out of an old large Amazon box I had in the garage & putting on several performances for us. I sent everything home with them and I think the older granddaughter took them with her to school. So all in all, well worth the minor cost!

If you are making puppets with pre schoolers you must separate all the pieces. You may want to organize what could go on the puppets before they are assembled by children. I put the pieces inside the puppets so the children have to go through all the small pieces. There will pieces left over so paper box puppets can be made.

This is a fantastic kit. Bought for my son with autism as he likes arts and crafts. You get a good amount of different items to make stuff with and the materials and quite good quality aswell.
This kit was just what I needed when I was sitting for my little 6 year old niece. I loved the box, which she took home with all of the extra parts. The fact that the pieces are pre-cut made it much less messy and we were instantly able to start putting together our animals! She enjoyed the examples, but others may like to just wing it. Plenty of parts to do either. I highly recommend this kit. I do suggest some strong glue. Maybe a glue gun used by an adult? I bought good craft glue but our larger parts were kind of falling off. Other than my glue issue, this kit was really awesome!

Idéal pour occuper les enfants ma fille adore. On peut faire plusieurs marionnettes différentes, et il y a beaucoup
de pièce, on peut varier les animaux. Il y a une fiche avec des exemples. Je trouve ce kit assez complet même si j’aurais préféré qu’il y ai la colle ou du scotch double face pour coller les différentes parties. Semble assez solide pour l’instant la marionnette est resté entière …
