I got this in the 4-cup version, which will provide PLENTY of storage for cooking utensils. It has clean lines and is study and well-constructed. I like that there are drainage holes in the bottom, and I like that you can remove one of the dividers if you want to make a section larger. Additionally, there is the “sidecar” extra cup that can attach onto the side or front. I haven’t decided exactly what I will use that for.
Be aware that this is very large. I had wanted it to sit beside my stove because there is a small space between the edge of the stove and the wall. I checked the measurements and could tell that probably would not work, but I decided to see when it arrived if it might work there anyway. It was too large for that purpose, so I had to find another space. I have a small NYC apartment… I think this would be more suited for a larger kitchen. In my space it just seems to take up a lot of counter space, disproportionate to other uses.
I will be using this to store cooking utensils for my kosher kitchen (which I want to keep separated into different categories). It’s going to be perfect for that purpose. I also think it will work well if you have a lot of speciality utensils that you want to keep out and easy to access. I don’t bake much, but there is plenty of room here for spatulas and other baking tools, in addition to the standard ones for cooking.
The star taken off is because the interior box seemed to have oil or something on it on, at the corners. I haven’t been able to figure out what it is/was. There was no damage (or oiliness) on the outer, shipping box and there was no damage to the rack itself, which was inside the oily box, wrapped n a layer of plastic.

This thing holds ALOT of utensils! I’ve sorted mine into spatulas in 1 section, big serving spoons in another and stirring type utensils in the 3rd. It looks really nice and is so much nicer than dealing with one big round jar for everything. Looks nice and is well made. Heavy enough that it isn’t going to tip over, but not too heavy.
