these cables are garbage, very poor quality , the ends of the outer cables are not cut good and are crimped over they are not the size they should be . dont buy GARBAGE,

Used this set to replace all the cables and covers on an old bike. It got the job down and I would buy it again. The biggest challenge is that it is difficult to cut the sleeves cleanly and they tend to crimp when cut so expect to have to do a little cleanup on cut ends to get them ready to put an end cap on or to feed a cable through. The package did not come with the copper end caps. I’m not sure what they’re for and I didn’t need them but it’s listed in the product so I would expect to get them.

When I installed higher handlebars on my mountain bike none of the old brake or shifter cables would reach. These I could cut with a hacksaw to fit. End caps are flimsy and I accidentally crushed one when I stepped on it. Made do with one old one.
