I haven’t had any luck using the wifi feature with a desktop yet, for that I have to use a cable. But wifi works great on the phone. LED light is nice and bright, picture is clear enough to see my trichomes with no problem at all. The stand is pretty helpful too.Can take pics to save as well, nice little extra dazzle.

This little microscope works well. The hardest part is holding it still and focusing and so the key is to use the mount or use the plastic cone and press the microscope right onto what you are looking at. With this approach it works well and I have been amazed at the magnification and lighting. Everything you look at will be well lit.

Photo 1 is a US penny at 40mm distance. Photo 2 is a penny with the plastic cowling of the microscope touching the penny.

Update after using it: The photo capture work well. The focus adjustment is a bit hard to turn. The video capture seems to work but the file it produces is scrambled, not sure what is wrong.

Was looking for something that would work with ease and not to expensive. Download the Max-see app from the playstore. When you understand how to work the WiFi (Download the Max-see app from the Playstore, then on your phone go to your wifi, turn it off, turn on the scope and then turn your wifi back on-on your phone and look for Max-see and press that connection). It comes down to playing with it. Don’t forget to take the cap off. I like it, works great as the picture shows, in my opinion. Biggest downfall is the inability to connect to Windows. It is said it can be done using emulators, which I did try a few on my MS Surface Pro 6, But to no avail could I get it to connect. In any case, it does a real good job. I’ll be playing around with it for awhile. Ohya, It’s Thai Stick!

EDIT: customer service reached out to me about this product. They were concerned about my review, and wanted to make things right. I guess maybe I got a bad unit maybe? Regardless the customer service was amazing, offered me a refund or a new unit, reached out to me without me reaching out to them, very polite and courteous, really wanted to make things right. Can’t help a bad unit, but what I seen with this company is people trying to do their best and make things right, 4 stars because I don’t think the overall experience was worth 5, but the customer service alone and the unprompted help I received was more than enough to bring this from 1-4 stars. Anyone wanting to buy, I hope your unit was better than mine, rest assured customer service has your back though and will strive to make things right if anything does happen to go wrong or be unsatisfactory. Honestly I think finding customer service these days that cares about the value and quality delivered by the product is a rare thing, real customer service seemingly is a dying breed, here though you can rest assured that my experience was indeed significantly improved by customer service. Save your money, I have singular macro lenses that screw on to my phone and give 10 times the quality of this product, this product feels cheap, doesn’t work well, requires an app to use which is absolutely terrible in and of itself, the image quality is poor if you can even get it to focus, save your money do not buy. You’ve been warned.
