My husband love this metronome, my husband has alway wanted one, don’t know why as he is not a musician and doesn’t have a musical bone in his body. But he does love wind up clocks and other annoying ticking things. He would say it helps him with taking his patients pulses, so he can correctly count how many beats per minute. Either way got him this a while back and he just loves it. Easy to use and no batteries to waste and throw away. Makes a loud tick/tock sound and you can also see the hand swing back and forth, it is fun to watch. Not the cheapest thing, but still Made in Germany.

Smaller than expected but doesn’t really matter as it’s perched on top of our upright piano and even a child can use it

I like the fact that it’s key wound and not battery operated. Easy to use, beautiful color and loud enough to hear when I’m playing if I’m not looking at it. I haven’t tested this against an electronic metronome, so I’m not sure how accurate it is, but it works well enough for me. General guidelines for tempos are printed on the face (adagio (66-76 bpm), largo (40-60 bpm)..) which is good, because I can use all the help I can get 🙂

This metronome is easy for the kids to use, looks good, is lightweight and slender. It is a very good item for the money, and holds up to many young hands and levels of curiosity. It is a very helpful tool and compliments the piano work area.

This product has to be a returned item or a “factory second” as I immediately noticed slight scratches on the outer case, THEN noticed a flaw in the plastic on the bottom of the case, THEN once I released the pendulum to activate the metronome, it beats as if it is on a sloped surface; with an uneven, irregular beat, AND the housing does not produce a consistent beat, it has a distinctive cyclical beat pattern. VERY DISAPPOINTED – where did you get this metronome from, as it is NOT new.

The media could not be loaded.

I was a little surprised at how small it was, but that was my fault for not paying attention when I purchased it. This is a small metronome, but it is very well made and has a satisfying click. Very lightweight, and it works as described immediately out of the box. No complicated packaging or anything. The only thing I was disappointed with was that it wasn’t as loud as I expected. When I play my acoustic guitar I struggle a little to hear it if I’m playing on the beat and playing with some force. My guitar and the way I play is particularly loud at times, but I had hoped it would cut through a little more, maybe 10% louder. Nonetheless I love this little guy. It’s such a satisfying analog device.

This is a gorgeous red little metronome. High quality German built timepiece. Highly recommended.

Made in Germany. Lightweight and compact, small enough to fit in a pocket, but works perfectly like a bigger metronome. The click is loud. I first tried the Seiko SQ50-V metronome, but then ended up getting this. I like the visual effect you get with an analog metronome. The numbers are a bit hard to read, given the size of the whole thing – you have to pick it up and bring it close to you in order to set it. The pendulum action lasts a long time before you have to rewind it.

A lovely little thing which does the job.
March over to Amazon and buy one now!
It’s easy to use and doesn’t feel cheap or plasticky–though it is plastic (a neat trick haha.)
