This is the first new guitar purchase for me since 1979 and I was super uncomfortable buying something I hadn’t held in my own hands to inspect. I never heard of the seller before this purchase but trusted Amazon and I am so happy that I did.
I watched every YouTube video review and comparison I could find to get as close to the instrument as possible without being able to visit a BrickandMortar.
The guitar is beautiful and rich and very impressive for the price. The top has an aged look in its coloring and the grain is very nice, the Rosewood and Ebony are mind blowingly deep and rich.
The action is setup low with no buzz so playing it is the easiest I’ve ever played (although limited experience)
The case fits the instrument so well that there’s no movement inside and is also very well made and padded, not to mention nice looking.
I can’t wait to get to know this new best friend better and cannot thank the MusicZoo and Amazon enough❤️❤️❤️

Excellent guitar! I have been playing for over 40 years, while i feel i have better guitars, this is one that ticks all the boxes, I feel lucky to have found one. The sound is clean, intonation perfect up and down the neck. Sound plugged in is without fault, as Yamaha’s electronics are top notch. I have >13 guitars now, too many in my wife’s opinion, including several Taylor’s, Yamaha’s, a Martin, an old Washburn, an Applause 12 String and a couple of Gibson’s. This in the top 3 guitars i have, with a clean crisp sound, lack of unwanted harmonics and very solid feel. 5/5 great guitar to gig with. The Taylors stay at home as they are just too fragile. This is a solid unit, hand made in Japan. On my short list of items to get to a safe location after the family, if he house even catches fire.
Edit: I’ve owned and played it for several years now, and it just keeps getting better, while it felt and sounded great initially, the tone never fails to give you chills, it’s that good. Over the years most of the guitars go in and out of their cases for short stints in the light so to speak, this one only hit the case if i take it somewhere. If you can find one, do yourself a favor, give Yamaha the modest price, i know you won’t regret it.

I’m a beginner or intermediate and this is my second guitar and first Acoustic Electric. I researched Taylor, Martin, Takamine and Yamaha. Most all used the same woods and similar bracing. So I looked at the differences in the pickup and liked what I read on the SRT2 system. After comparing price I decided on the Yamaha AR5 A.R.E. I like the sound and I’m not disappointed in my decision.
