I got this to replace an overly large bird feeder I have. It’s cute and the birds love it. It’s made purely of plastic with a wire loop for hanging. it’s lightweight so it can be hung on a Sheppards hook with no issue. It’s not squirrel proof. All in all it’s a great buy at this price point.

We had a previous set of feeders for two years and were fairly happy – after a year the perches got brittle, but overall a good buy. The new ones are horrible!! The hold maybe two-thirds as much seed, and the tops are maddening!! The old ones flipped up – these new lids take forever to try and screw on correctly! You have to place your entire hand on the bird poop-covered lid to get it to screw on. Lining up the lid is exasperating. Terribly disappointed!!

The very first morning it was out there, 4 squirrels chewed off the rails on all sides that the birds use to stand on. They then proceeded to chew thru the clear plastic part holding the seed in. This feeder is NOT squirrel proof! Don’t waste your money.

This bird feeder has changed our world now we’re seeing so many different wild birds and they love this little house of food!!! I’m in love and obsessed with this and no other rodents or bugs have been a problem and no squirrels bothering it either! It’s so awesome!!!! My favorite is the blue jays but I’m loving them all so much!
