Before I purchased this someone had tried to steal my rims. They weren’t successful because I have locks on my wheels. But having an alarm makes me feel better because they got my tire loose enough to where it could have flown off and got me and my child into an accident & possibly killed us and another family. I’m hoping this alarm will prevent that from happening again

When the product arrives, it comes in a very small box. Everything you need is included though. Even batteries for the remote and directions. The alarm itself is all one piece, self-contained in the horn unit.
It is simple to install, and very user friendly. The directions note that it cannot be connected to any existing system. So if you have a remote car starter already, you will have to carry a second key fob. But on older vehicles, or vehicles with a faulty security system, this is a great device.
This item was perfect, exactly what I needed for my 01 Monte carlo. It does have keyless entry, and a factory alarm. But, the horn went out, so the alarm feature is useless. Yes, I am stuck carrying two key fobs, but that is a very little price to pay to have an alarm again.
The installation is very simple, just connect to a constant 12 volt power source, and a ground wire. Then simply mount the horn unit somewhere, and you are done.
The key fobs feel really nice in your hand, they are made out of mostly metal, and have a pretty decent weight to them. It also lights up blue, to give feedback when buttons are pushed.
Overall, this is a great little system for the price. Perfect for repairs, or a first alarm system. Works great, very responsive, several levels of sensitivity settings, very loud and user friendly. Highly recommended.
