I’d buy this again. I love the consistency and the creaminess of what comes out. Some berries might come out more as “berry bits,” but that’s why you have to use some kind of creamy base like a bananna or something. My only issue is with putting smaller fruit into the column – some are gonna miss the mark and fall on your counter. I really wish it had some sort of catcher up there to save a mess on the counter. I spent more time cleaning dropped berries of the counter than I did the machine. The machine is a breeze to clean. Step one – take apart. Step two – rinse – 30 seconds and it’s clean.

I love this new machine, easy to use and clean. It gives you a healthy frozen treat. A lot of recipes in book sent with the appliance. The comments about needing a sweetener to make it taste better, I agree. There are so many different types of healthy sweeteners out there. I plan to try agave.

I got to know this machine at a friend when we got a sorbet like desert made of 100% fruit.
This machine is practical and easy to use and clean. it delivers ice-cream like texture only using fruits.
Almost all of the recipes require bananas as the base but if you don’t like or are allergic to bananas, you can still enjoy a blueberries/Mango ice cream in a few minutes.
I’ve also froze yogurt to see if I could make frozen yogurt type of ice cream and it worked.
a couple of negative points go to it being too loud during the operation as well as the cheap plastic casing. The motor can also be heated after a short period of time so if you’re to make ice-cream for more than a few people, it wouldn’t be that quick and you have to plan ahead of time.
For the price, I think it is a bit over priced for the material used and the quality.

I tried to return it but Amazon said I rejected the return which wasn’t true.

I bought it and tried to turn it ON. No luck. Its a broken piece. How did this product go into market without a quality check? Thanks, will never recommend this!

  6. It didn’t work at all

Wie kann es sein, dass ein Haushaltsgerät im deutschen Amazon verkauft wird und nur über 110V/60Hz bei 2000W betrieben werden kann? Es wird nicht mal explizit darauf hingewiessen…das nervt enorm!

I enjoy sweets, but they do a terrible job on my waste line. Now, I can at least enjoy a simple sweet snack that mimics ice cream and I don’t have to feel like I shouldn’t have eaten that. Very quick to make including clean up. The machine sound is not disturbing (probably close to a Vitamix).
If the dessert is too soft, you can refreeze it for a few minutes, then scoop it into a bowl and dress it up to make a pretty looking sundae. You can sprinkle on flax seeds, chia seeds, additional fresh fruits and banana, a tablespoon of granola, a dollop of plain Greek yogurt, and a drizzle of honey, if needed. Great summer treat. Fantastic.

I bought this on Amazon on May 10, 2023. Unit worked great and we loved it, but by January 2024 the gasket had fallen apart. Looking at the design, I’d guess that gasket breaks relatively frequently. I contacted Yonanas, describing the problem…. had to send them a photo of the damaged gasket, photo of the bottom model/serial codes on the unit, and proof of my Amazon purchase. They agree I’m covered under warranty. They said they will send a replacement once they go through their year-end inventory work in a week or so. It will only cost me $9.95 for shipping of the gasket. My experience with companies has been if you’re under warranty, the replacement is sent free of charge! What a rip-off. Next time this gasket wears out, I wonder what the replacement and shipping charge will be? It will wind up costing half the price of the unit!! So beware dealing with Yonanas, if you have a problem…. warranty or not!

🍨This little machine does what is promised. The key is to freeze your favorite fruits that are perfectly ripe, not green, but perfectly ripe or even a bit overly ripe.

Simply let the fruit sit on your counter for about three minutes and then drop them through the shoot and plunge. Your frozen fruit will come out perfectly and flawlessly as sorbet.

Each bite is simply delicious and his restaurant quality. I can’t stand off about this efficient easy to use and inexpensive ice cream machine. It’s extremely healthy and easy to use. Also super easy to clean up. Thank you so much. My favorite combination is frozen watermelon with frozen bananas mixed together. I have also frozen many different tropical fruits, including guava, papaya, nectarines, yellow kiwi, blueberries, raspberries, and cherries. All are delicious. Each combination is unique, but I recommend doing your favorite fruit with a frozen banana because the banana adds a creaminess. All delicious and decadent!!! AHHH!

I also feel this makes a great wedding gift and or birthday gift! NAMASTE AMIGOS!

We got it because we went full vegan recently. My first time using it we were sold. Make sure all your fruit is ripe and sweet! I even let my strawberries and rasberries get a little riper than I normally would eat them. First time I used it we followed the instructions and let 2 bananas and 2 peaches thaw for 8 minutes. It came out perfect. It was so creamy with the bananas but not like soft serve. It is more like gelato with a rich, thick, creaminess. I adore gelato so this was a bonus. I forgot it was nothing but fruit at one point and I almost stopped eating it. Oh the joy in remembering it is healthy, vegan and I can enjoy it guilt free! That was a good feeling. I can see my kids using this everyday.

2 bananas and 2 peaches made me a pint, I was surprised because I expected just a small bowlful for some reason. 6 bananas in and a small bag of frozen fruit later I had enough to store a large carton. When I got some later it was still creamy and maintained the same texture. You can even freeze yogurt cubes, plant milk cubes or regular milk cubes if you don’t want to use bananas. I prefer to make it in bulk but it would be worth it to use for single serve dishes as well.

I really have no idea how this could get a bad review unless it was broken, or you picked unsweetened fruit.
Compare this to the “healthy” ice cream options in stores which are usually only sold by the pint, and price wise this is also a winner. I paid less than $2 a pint shopping at Whole Foods. If I use Aldi’s it is even cheaper. Don’t waste months thinking about it. Just get it!

    Update!
It is months later and we still use it often. We still love it and it still works great. If it broke I would replace it immediately. All the reviews complaining about having to take it apart to get that last bit of ice cream out make no sense. You have to take it apart anyways to clean it! Some are saying it is easier to use a blender. You also have to scrape a blender! So when cleaning, scrape that last bit into your bowl, rinse your pieces and walk away with your bowl of ice cream. Not hard or as inconvenient as they are making it to be. Also if it isn’t mixing well, your pieces are too frozen. Even the videos above show the fruit mixes together when done right.
