I’m a repeat purchaser of these. They truly feel helpful in warding off sickness or helping my body bounce back.

I call these “the world’s most expensive cough drop” but I say it fondly. You get what you pay for with these throat lozenges. I do a lot of public speaking, and the worst thing to happen in front of people eagerly listening to you, is a tickle in your throat followed by a coughing jag. This happened to me a few years ago. A friend had handed me one of these lozenges and said they were amazing if you have a bad cough. I thanked my friend, and shoved it in my pocket before I went to speak. I didn’t think about it until 10-15 minutes into speaking, then “wham” a slight tickle in my throat followed a series of coughs ensued. I checked my pockets with the hopes that I had a piece of candy from a business lunch in my pocket. What I found was this throat lozenge. The wrapper didn’t look like much, but it impressed the hell out of me. After apologizing profusely to the audience, I shoved the lozenge in my mouth. I could not believe it- it immediately (Approx 30 seconds) got rid of the annoying tickle in my throat and the coughing jag was never to return. Now, I have these every where. In my laptop bag, my coats, pockets, you name it. Especially when I’m in a hotel room and I get that dry cough in the middle of the night from the hotel air conditioning or furnace. They may be expensive, but they are way cheaper than loosing your audience while public speaking, or negotiating terms at a business meeting. I don’t write very many reviews of things I purchase on Amazon.com, but I want people to BUY these Thieves throat lozenges- because I don’t want them to stop making these little miracles in clear cellophane wrapping. LoL

I’m not one of those “oily” people. A few drops of this or that won’t fix my common cold, Brenda! However, I really like the spicy taste of these drops and they soothe my throat when its raw from coughing. My husband doesn’t like the taste, it isn’t for everyone. But he doesn’t like chai and that is how I’d suggest the flavor to be. Chai with a hint of medicine flavor. Just try it. I will always have a bag on hand because thats how much I like them when sick. Keep them around because two day shipping is too long with a sore throat.
