Wow! I was so impressed with this product as soon as I took it out of the box. The metal is super thick and heavy, and it looks great. I couldn’t believe the quality of this feeder for the price! Within 10 minutes of setting it up, I had 3-4 birds already perched and chowing down. Not sure how it’ll hold up to squirrels, but so far I’m really pleased.

This feeder is attractive, well made, and easy to fill. I like the way the top releases with a toggle closure, easy to open and close and the lid stays attached. It holds 3 pounds of grain, but that doesn’t look like much, about 2/3 full of a gallon scoop. The great part is the birds waste much less grain than similar feeders. My other feeder is empty in a day, this one is actively used, but lasts 5 days.

If you are looking for a sturdy bird feeder, this is it. So many feeders for sale are made of plastic so they are light but not durable. This is made from metal top and bottom. So it is much heavier than other feeders, but should last a very long time. My wild birds love it. My only nitpick is that you have put a lot of seed into the tube for it to spill out well in the feeder. I like to put fresh seed in every day so sometimes I have to shake it late in the day for the last amounts of seeds to spill into the feeding tray.

This feeder is great! I was tired of purchasing and repurchasing cheap plastic feeders when the squirrels would go to town, so I decided to invest in this metal one. So glad I did! So far the squirrels haven’t damaged it at all, it’s easy to fill up and holds a lot of seed, and the birds seem to like it too!

I love that this feeder is sturdy, adorable, and easy to clean & refill. I wish it was bigger, but overall it’s great! The overhanging top is perfect for keeping water out when it rains, which is a huge deal where I live. I now only fill it with sunflower seeds because the openings where the seed comes out are large, so the bigger seeds are harder for the birds to get out as quickly. They can still empty it in less than a day, though!

I made a very good choice. So many times it is hard to tell whether an item is well made or not. I was very pleased with the design and construction of this bird feeder. The hanging cable has set screws in the cable clamp!!! What?? Very easy to install and adjust the hanging height. The roof has a sprung release button to hold the roof up and away for refilling. Ingenius! The hanging cable is connected to the main structure with a barrel nut, making it very easy to detach the bottom from the top for filling and/ or cleaning. The perch ring is metal and is welded to the metal base. A truly outstanding product!!

Solid construction! I love this feeder because its design makes it easy to re-fill without the need to unscrew anything – just simply slide the top up and pour the seeds in! I purchased this particular feeder because I was tired of watching the oversized birds devour all the seeds out of our other feeders, leaving nothing for the smaller birds. The design of this new feeder makes it impossible for the larger birds to perch on the feeder and steal all the food. I highly recommend this feeder to everyone!!! I might have to get another one!
