Daughter caught her first fish with the new rod. Not sure the drag was set where it should be, but a strong rod & line brought the fish in the boat!

Zebco 33 – great spinning reel / rod for kids and adults. Take a kid fishing and get them away from them cell phones and trash on TV. Spending time with a child is a great investment. Good time to tell them about Jesus. Great for gifts. Great rod and reel. Always has been. iamnotashamed.com

This rod and reel have worked well for me. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because the line that comes with it is not good I would recommend changing it out when you receive your product. Also every once in a while the two piece rod will come apart as you cast but it’s very rare and could be easily avoided by occasionally checking it’s still a tight fit

Amazon resend it to me and got it fast for the second time.
The quality of the rod looks ok, but it took a while for me to learn how to use it.
The wheel doesn’t looks like brand new, and the rod lost some paints.
Hopefully easy to use and catch lots of fishes, and have fun.
