Our new pup, 2 years ago now, would eat poop. Nasty disgusting habit and his breath always stunk. CHEW NO POS worked great. No problem since we started the pup and our older dog on them.

We have two Weimaraners, a four year old we raised from a puppy and a 9-year-old that we’ve had for just over a year. The 9-year-old always seemed to have bad breath, and we caught her a number of times eating her own poo. We’re just starting into our second bag of this product. We noticed about a week after starting the first bag that she no longer seemed to have bad breath all the time. Also since that time we haven’t noticed her eating any more poo. When she did eat the poo it was always her own, and not the other dogs. So we are only giving the problem dog this product. So far we are happy with it and it doesn’t seem to have any adverse effects.

My small 3 year old dog has been taking these for over a week. She is still eating her poop. When we take her outside we have to keep a very close eye on her otherwise she’ll eat her poop before we’re able to pick it up and dispose of it. I would not recommend this product to ANYONE.

So the bison fl or ended up working for us, for some reason, better than the chicken… who knows why. It’s not 100% effective all the time, but it’s important to figure out the reason why the dog is eating the poo! I can’t stress that enough. We have 4 little dogs that are all rescues.
One of them eats the poo because of “housekeeping” which is a nice way to say she doesn’t want stinky stuff around so she eats it. She came from a hoarding house where it was always dirty so she learned this behavior. One other started to learn this behavior, but luckily they both stop with this treat because it makes it really undesirable tasting. They would rather deal with the smell until we get there to help instead of the taste.
We have another that eats poo, but she also has some gastro issues as well. We give her additional pro and prebiotics, nutrient dense foods, and everything we can to help. But dogs will eat poo, especially their own, as a way of getting more of the nutrition if they aren’t getting it from their diets. I know she is getting it, but because of the issues she might not always be absorbing it. Her supplements are supposed to be helping this. These no poo chews will help deter this, but for this type of behavior they may not stop it because it is more of a survival instinct instead of cleaning or some learned behavior.
This chew, as with most other supplements to deal with poo eating, may or may not work. I’ve tried others that somewhat work and we’ve had to find the one that works
for them, but it was also important to find out why they’re doing it in the first place. If your dog is doing it for hunger or nutrition, this type of thing might not work for you. Always talk to your vet if deterrents don’t work to find out why they are eating the poo because this will best let you know how to help them. Also know that the supplements won’t be the only fix. Making changes to your routine and behaviors as well will be needed, many dogs who eat to clean it need a long pattern of your immediate cleaning before they begin to trust you’re going to clean it for them. But never yell or scold for this behavior because there is some underlying reason.

One of my 5-year old dogs has a problem with eating our other dog’s poop. I have fed both dogs this treat every day for the last three weeks, and have not noticed any changes. They do like the taste of the treat itself, but because it is ineffective I will not purchase again.

For some reason, these have now stopped working. I even tried upping the dosage. Might try a different brand and come back to it again in the future.

This has been an on-going issue. I’ve tried a bunch of other products and methods of trickery, but nothing seemed to deter him. He just loves the poo.
I slowly introduced the right dosage into his meals because enzymes & gut health products can give dogs tummy trouble at first. After a couple of weeks… Peanut will sniff his caca and walk away. Sigh. Finally.
I will tell you that I eventually started giving them to all of my dogs because Peanut started to show interest in their poop once his smelled undesirable. So, this ends up being on the pricey side for me, but it’s worth it.

This eat no poo stuff does not work AT ALL and you can not get a refund because i tried early on when i saw it had no affect on my poo eater so the jar is almost gone with high hopes it would eventually start to work but unfortunately it didn’t and it was a total water of money. UPDATE: the company reached out and satisfied my concerns. They stand behind their products if your not satisfied good company to work with. For that i have up the stars from 1 to 3 for customer service.
