Works perfectly! I bought this for a motorcycle battery maintainer on a BMW. Only trouble I had was a reversed polarity from what I expected. This product is set up for output. If you want it for a charger/ battery maintainer you will need an additional “sae polarity adapter “

OK for light current and battery minder. Check to insure proper polarity, mine were reversed.

Per “Kenergiser’s” earlier review, I also found that the polarity of the pins is reversed from what is shown in the descriptive diagrams. Aside from being annoying, incorrect polarity can damage an expensive device, such as a radar detector. ;-(
In addition to having incorrect polarity, this unit does not have any shielding to protect the internal wire connections from getting wet. If you’re planning to use this on a motorcycle (like I was), since the plug points straight up (on my bike, anyway), you would run a very high risk of shorting out your bike’s electrical system if it rains.
