So far everything is working, but the daytime bulb burned out after 2 and a half weeks of use. I wasn’t expecting it to last a long time, but that’s pretty abysmal. The fixture itself is fine however, I would just recommend getting better bulbs as replacements.

The bulb went out. I unplugged the unit, then went to unscrew the bulb from the unit. The unit started crumbling into my tank, the bulb separated into 2 pieces, 1 stayed stuck in the unit the other piece that remained looked like half a bulb, still closed, but with a straw sticking out. I can’t get the rest of the bulb out of the hood. It’s now useless to me. I had to run to Petsmart to buy a comparable hood so my daughter’s lizard wouldn’t die while I try to get amazon or the seller to refund purchase.

This set worked so perfectly for our lizards, we had geckos and different varying lizards like anoles. The instructions were very clear and the lights made you able to see everything you needed to. They looked really aesthetic while also providing the lizards the exact conditions they needed during their day-night cycle. It was quite stable and sat perfectly on top the cage. Well worth the money.
