Cosmo –
I understand that this was a used enclosure but no where did it say it was damaged too. Pretty sizable hole on one side leaving some of the screen wire poking out into the enclosure. One of the latch pegs is missing and another bent out of place. I don’t have the time or money to send back and just buy a new one, I do love the size. I have a very active chameleon and he out grew his last enclosure so fast.

Schneller Versand, gute Verpackung, gerne wieder!

This is an awesome cage ! Took me about an hour to assemble by myself, wasn’t too complicated. The glass door is really nice and gives it an awesome look, only issue is that it hangs when you open the door and I have to lift the door up in order to latch it closed. Has an awesome cleaning slide out tray! Light and easy to move around.

This came with two holes in the mesh unfortunately but does what I need it to. Be very careful when assembling, clearly the mesh is not strong.

This cage is flimsy and a piece of junk. We would’ve returned it but the time to return passed as it was a gift from my son‘s birthday. It only took two days for one of the hooks to break, and there are only two hooks. Now, when you unhook it, the entire thing goes crooked and you have the hook back on.

Unlike the glass Zoo Med terrariums this one comes unassembled, but the directions were clear and the process not too fiddley. It may have taken me 20 minutes (after I failed to read that all the lettered stickers should face out). The LEDs may not be as bright as a light you might add, but the simplicity of them is great and you could still add more of whatever wavelength you want. I’m a little conflicted as to how to fill it and still make use of the slide out tray, but it may be an accessory I simple don’t use. It appears very tightly built so that cricket can’t escape. Really very expensive, but so is the rest of the hobby….

At first I thought the LED deluxe model would be a better option until I received it. The first acrylic door panel arrived cracked. VirVentures the seller I purchased from on Amazon what’s not very helpful and getting a new panel and wanted me to return the entire unit. I contacted ZooMed directly and they’re great customer service agreed to send me a new panel at no additional cost. The new panel arrived today and thankfully it has no cracks. The panel comes with protective film to prevent any scratches to it. Something Manish scratch this film deep enough to create a scratch on the acrylic glass. I know second-guess the longetivity or durability of this product. How long will it last before it gets scratched some more. How much pressure can be applied to this door panel before it cracks. I would recommend the regular extra large terrarium over this led deluxe for two reasons. Reset number one would be the price I said number two would be the fact that if you have one of these terrariums you are more than likely going to get an LED Hood with a T5 UVB bulb and that should be sufficient lighting to justify the lack of built-in LEDs that the LED deluxe model has. Another good reason to get the screen door version is the fact that chameleons like to hang from it they also have very sharp claws that will definitely scratch this acrylic door panel a lot and then they’re going to realize they can no longer hang on that door. I think actual glass would have been a better solution instead of this plastic glass look alike. Buy at your own risk but just know this terrarium is far from perfect.

Very easy to assemble if you follow the instructions. I recommend a cordless driver/screwgun to speed the process but a Phillips screwdriver is really all you need to assemble it. Once assembled, it’s a sturdy cage. In case you’re wondering; the top is screen, not solid. The LED lights are built into the perimeter of the frame of the top. So, yes, you can put a heat lamp on top as it’s screen, not a solid piece of plastic. The description doesn’t say it, but this comes with the tray for the bottom. I thought it didn’t and bought the 24″ tray and now I have two. Our Panther Chameleon loves her cage. If this is your first screen cage (it was ours) note that when you mist, water will go through the screen. We have the left side covered with a clear plastic sheet.

For the size of the cage the door is really heavy because of that plastic front. Now if it was a screen mesh front the door wouldn’t be so heavy. It’s has a weight problem since that doors weight stop it from latching properly. I accidentally bumped the side of my table and the door just swung right open. So unless you can take out that plastic front yourself and replace it with screen mesh I would probably stay away from this item. The plastic square tray that holds the dirt came in bent around the edges. so when I set it in there it protruded on itself a little bit and so dirt would get underneath it. I think it’s a good cage but that door is what kills it. Wouldn’t recommend for a first time reptile owner maybe with someone who has more experience or knows how to fix the door.
