I own an Amazon parrot and my widowed handicap Mother used to live with me and she got so that she spoiled the bird. She would feed him all kinds of special treats like toast with peanut butter, and after a little while the bird would not eat pellets. Pellets are an integral part of a bird diet. They provide a lot of vitamins and nutrition that your bird might not otherwise get. My mother has passed on, and I was trying to get this bird back into some pellets. I bought these in hopes that he might like a fruit, flavored pellet. To my surprise, the bird actually loves these. They are a great supplement and the company has a good reputation. I believe they are well worth the money.
