I bought this to add to my electric set as it was impossible to use brushes or get a rim shot on my electric set. This drum when I first set it up was very bongey like and no snare sound however upon tightening the clear bottom head and tighening the snares a bit more it has turned out to be just what I wanted. The stand is a bit light, however I am not go to be go on the road with it and it works just great for me at this time. The case and sticks is a added bonus and the drum [black sparkle] looks great with my electro set. Just about have it all set now with adding my 20 Zildian ride and this snare, now just need a good hi hat, but in good time.

This is a nice kit, and for the price it was hard to beat. My son is a drummer and has been talking about how much better a ten lug drum would be so we got him this one. I only wish the people who made the product weren’t so proud of what they created. EVERY side of the box is proudly stamped “Snare Drum Set” and (you guessed it) my son is the one who found it on our doorstep. So much for surprising him for Christmas!
