Sebastian –
Lasts long and really resistant

Great case, cute and practical. Not too chunky either for an otter box
Usmcshooter –
This is not the typical bulky Otterbox. It is nice and compact and lets me still place my phone in my pocket. Fits great, and is a single piece

I love this phone cover. Very durable.
Frustration –
Dry happy with the design and how easily it goes onto the phone. I have always bought Otter cases and have never returned one.
Excellent protection from drops.

This is the third case I tried for my new iPhone SE. It seems quite durable and well built and I’m going to keep it. The other cases I tried did not have enough raised lip on the front of the case to keep the phone from sitting on the glass with a screen protector installed. That’s a for sure NO GO for me. This one does have an adequate front edge…although just barely. I mean…just so.
The thing I don’t like is that the side button (the one on the right side top) is VERY hard to press. I can manage it, but would doubt that my wife could. It’s that hard. Maybe it will loosen up in time…we’ll see. Volume buttons are not an issue. Don’t ask me why there would be a difference.
Otherwise, the case has a good “grippy” feel without being too rubbery and sticky. Edges and corners are solid and obviously can handle a good drop without the phone being damaged.

This has been with me for years, and it’s still going strong. High-quality protection and a stylish look.

I have always been very satisfied with Otterbox cases, and this one is no different.
Bad:
It’s kind of difficult to put on. Other Otterbox cases I’ve had in the past had two separate shells (one soft floppy inner layer, and one hard outer shell). This case still has a softer part and a harder shell, but they’re connected so I have trouble shoving my phone in. I’m always afraid I’ll push too hard and damage the screen or something.
It seems to get slightly stained by jeans and other colored pants. Right now its not really noticeable at all but I feel like it’ll get dingy looking over time. That being said, it will probably take much longer for that to happen compared to other brands.
Good:
I am very clumsy and CONSTANTLY drop my phone: on hardwood, carpet, parking lots, tile, sidewalks, dirt…you name it I’ve probably dropped my phone on it. My case already has a couple minor scratches on the back but they aren’t noticeable unless you hold the case in the light a certain way & I do put the case to heavy use so it’s to be expected. Otterbox gives me peace of mind so I don’t have to have a heart attack every time I drop my phone because I know it’s well protected.
I got the Rose Gold and I love the colors; the soft part of the case is a pale baby pink and the hard part of the case is a more traditional rose gold color and I think they compliment each other really well. This case comes in many different color combinations and prints so there’s a lot of options to choose from for people with all kind of style preferences. The outer shell material is perfect for people who have magnet phone mounts for their cars like I do; the magnet adhered very well & I haven’t had any problems with it peeling off. The case is very slim and sleek, not bulky at all which I really like.
I love that there isn’t a flap on the bottom covering the charging port. Sure it’s less protected now but it’s so much easier to plug in to charge, especially when I’m in my car in a hurry to leave. My boyfriend has this same case in black and his lock & volume buttons I find really stiff & difficult to press, but my buttons are very easy to maneuver. I’m not sure why there would be such a stark difference between our two cases but I’m glad I got the one with the softer buttons!
Overall I am very pleased with my purchase as usual. Thanks Otterbox!

This is my second one. Never had phone damage in it. The rubber can peel a little. Some of the side rubber came off mine when I had it pinched in a camera holder (I like to make a lot of cooking videos) so now I take it out of the case before I film anything.
Super tight fit. No problems getting my phone in or out though.

I love their symmetry style phone cases; NOT BULKLY OF HEAVY FEELING like a lot of the other styles by otterbox. Symmetry style is very solid and protective with a low profile edge. I bash my phone are like crazy and these cases really prove themselves. Highly recommend any Symmetry case by Otterbox, especially if you have small hands and hate bulky phones like me.

I’ve dropped my phone in two different parking lots since getting this case, and it’s still in once piece! It’s a good case. Not too bulky to slip in my pocket, but sturdy enough to keep my phone protected.

I’ve used three different cases from the Otterbox Symmetry series for my iPhone 8, and I quite like the design. Here are some pros and cons about it, but overall I really like the series.
Pros: The case handles most drops very well, haven’t had my phone damaged at all. I like the how it has a lip that goes over the edge of the phone, it helps keep the screen safe from cracks or scratches. The charging port opening is a good size and chargers fit inside it well. I like the simple and sleek design, and it feels nice in your hand. It’s protective but not bulky or ugly. I decorate the back of the case with waterproof stickers because of the smooth, blank surface it has, but it’s also nice kept plain.
Cons: The power button can be hard to press on a new case but it tends to get easier after use. Eventually though the volume buttons and power button can wear down a lot, I had the volume buttons break off of one of my cases probably due to me fidgeting with them. This was after owning the case for quite a while. It can be a struggle to get the case on and off, a brand new one will especially put up a fight, but it’s sturdy once it’s on. I have had the back of the case get pretty scratched up from dropping of rough asphalt, but that’s expected. That’s the only thing that’s ever scratched it for me.
One thing to note that is totally my own fault, is that the surface of the phone case kind of dissolves in contact with acetone (nail polish remover). I thought it would help to remove sticker residue but it was a bad idea, so avoid getting any acetone on it. That’s just a warning for anyone like me so you don’t make the same mistake I did.
All things considered I still like these cases and recommend them if you like simple yet protective phone cases.

I little harder to remove than other otterbox cases we have but feels very durable and protected.
