I have used Hoya in the past and they were packaged much better than they are now. I have not had a lot of time to use it and the construction seems to be alright.

The plastic storage case was badly cracked. Because it was shipped in one of those white bubble wrap envelopes, it might have cracked during shipping. Other than that, I’m happy with my purchase

I’ve decided to replace my former UV protectors with the new Hoya NXT Plus UV filters as i wanted not just to filter UV rays but also to be able and take some shots during winter where rain might have some drops on the lens.
These filters works great and its much easier to get rid of rain drops during shooting.

I am very pleased with the quality and usefulness of this product. I noticed a big difference in my photography. In a situation where I previously experienced a “reflection” problem by using a cheaper plastic cover, I was able to take photos without reflection problems, due to this product. I will no longer plan on using any other cover but Hoya !
