It was easy to set up. It synced with my TV without any problems. It also has really good sound.

It is a good product, but as far as sound is concerned i feel only bar is not sufficient if you plan only to go for bar opt for 5000 or 7000 model only bar won’t give that performance as much as it is hyped on youtube review or internet still i would say the product is a quality product sound is crisp and it is fun to watch movies or tv on this but sometimes on amazon prime or netflix or any other platforms the volume of the bar need to be raised to 100% so if you have a bigger room than 200 sq. Ft. You will need to go for 5000

The sound signature is forward, projected and bassy yet sublime . It is a compact bar. Sound becomes better than your expectation only after you do adjustment after connecting to TV. The high ends are not sharp but curved and the high end just rolls over making it an ideal bar for the sensitive people who can’t tolerate the sharpness of the highs and treble yet need sublime listening. It is a great entry level bar. Cons about the 3000:1. this bar is highly priced and bar alone is not sufficient(sub is must) .2.Sound feild is narrow but for the price paid we expect little more big feild. 3.5000 may be a little better option if you do not need compactness.My Score for movies 7/10,for music 8.0/10.Sound quality is almost at par and occasionally little below the 5000. It’s good as a substitute bar for the Sony ht a 5000 but it is too compact when compared with 5000.THE SECRET TO GREAT SOUND I AM GOING TO REVEAL HERE IS THE HEIGHT AND SOUND FIELD DIRECTION adjustment.And secondly doing optimization. All of a sudden the form and nature shifts to a great sound system. But pricing needs to be improved for this bar! Hope you found this review useful and helpful!

I am upgrading my previous Sony S100F that I bought about 4 years ago. The S100F was my first ever soundbar and is a lower tier soundbar at around 125 dollars, but has been nothing but impressive and it is still a great bar for a small room. So moving to a lower tier, high-end realm of soundbars was a little intimiadating. I had just purchased an Sony X85K Series TV and a Sony Playstation so I thought I would try an all Sony entertainment center.
So far I am very impressed with this soundbar. We play a lot of games and watch plenty of horror and action movies so I was pleasantly surprised with the overall sound quality and the clarity of dialog of characters, especially in Hogwarts Legacy.
There are also a bunch of features that comes with hooking up the soundbar a Sony TV that I am excited to try out when I get my TV later this week.
In conclusion: Very satisfied with my purchase and reduced price.

super easy plug and play with my Sony X90 and the sound is very impressive for the size of the unit. Everything works seamlessly and the Atmos effects are great when streaming via Apply Tv. The sound is actually pretty immersive with convincing bass and clear dialogue. Definitely a great purchase, not sure I need anything more but this unit is expandable with optional sub and satellites, however, I think that is going to be overkill for my needs since I only stream a few things here and there and play a few titles on the PS5 that will lead me to actually turning up the volume.

When watching some programs – some old (Scrubs) and some new (2024 Kentucky Derby) – there is no sound coming from the Sony HT-A3000, so I have to use the TV Speakers. The TV is a Sony XBR65X90CH.

The HT-A3000 soundbar is a nice unit. If you have an XR series Sony tv it pairs perfectly. It has very good sound quality and the voice feature allows you to hear dialogue clearly. It has built is bass speakers but I would recommend getting one of their subwoofers for added effect. It is priced high but I bought a bundle deal paired with a subwoofer for a better overall bargain.

I’m a reasonably intelligent human being… To make life easy, I purchased this to go with a top tier x80 (Sony) OLED… to go along with my PS5 (Sony)… if you think you can use these 3 Sony products together… you’ll be disastrously disappointed… Although they each claim to be co-compatible (and claim only 1 remote to control them all, plus claimed control of your set top box) they are collectively WORTHLESS when combined… After spending an absurd amount of time reading each manual… and spending more time in support forums… There is one way to connect (and set ps5 sound settings) so the ps5 media (Netflix Prime) plays through the sound bar, however that prevents the sound bar from playing game audio…. You’ll have to manually (with ONLY the sound bar remote) kick audio to the tv speakers… You might be able to reroute the hdmi cables to use this bar with the ps5… but with one hdmi connection, good luck connecting you screen… The sound bar remote, that you have to use every time you use a ps5 doesn’t power down the tv… so you’ll need the tv remote forever as well… Sonys remotes won’t ”copy” DIRECTV remote as claimed… so you’ll need that remote too… plus the ps5 remote or controller
Point being, this is hands down, the worst AV purchase I’ve ever made

If you have a tiny room this is a good product, but for a proper movie viewing this is a poor product.
Loses quality of sound as you turn it up!!

Bought new Sony TV and wanted easy hookup. Looks nice, easy hookup along with a good sound. Going to purchase a wireless subwoofer also
