My old Sony 75″ X900F, purchased 2018, stopped working. Hanging out in some AV forums, I knew I wanted a larger screen if I could afford it, along with a preference towards mini-LED displays over OLED.
The room I have the TV in can be overly bright so it seemed that the Samsung Neo QLED might be the best choice, especially considering the current price for an 85″ set released mid 2023 vs an equivalent OLED. Out of the box, it is super bright and colorful with all content. I turned on some golf to calibrate the greens, along with some red shirts against that green grass. Brightness and saturation all needed significant reductions, along with turning off the motion stuff to reduce the soap opera effect. Still finding minor adjustments towards my preferred picture across a variety of content, but it is meeting expectations.
Overall, no issues, and 5+ years later (than the prior Sony) I think picture quality is better than ever. A larger screen size does not hurt! Thanks for the deal and setup services Amazon!

I always bought $600 tvs going back 20 years. I’ve never experienced a step up of this magnitude. The colors just pop out. Sadly there are some annoying features in the UI. For example every time you turn the tv on it goes to some kind of stupid starting screen and you have to select your input. That is just really really bad software design which is par for the course for everything these days. The 3ft power cable is an even bigger head scratcher.

Pulsing sound almost like interference.
Tried everything could not get rid of it.
Happened across multiple sources.
Google it, and it’s an ongoing issue.
Being I was within 30days, I returned it.
Sound was a deal-breaker.

Based on negative shipping reviews I was really nervous about ordering online through amazon. TV came laying down in the truck with a furniture box crushing it. Expected the TV to be crushed but to my surprise it worked great when they took it out of the box. The TV itself is wonderful. The Neo QNED has a wonderful picture and clean image. Remote is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Reminds me of the older 2015 model remotes which I really liked. TV has a million options for adjustments etc. My PS5 really pops. Almost overwhelming at first. My work has a LG QNED 85 which is a little less in price but this TV in my opinion performs much better. Well worth the money.

The media could not be loaded.
I was shocked when I got it out of the box and on the stand – this TV is ENORMOUS!
I love the fact that this TV has a center stand which provides for maximum options in terms of placement. I was able to set this on a fairly small cabinet – I used a heavy-duty swivel so I can turn the TV from side to side.
This TV is equipped with all of the latest tech and smart options. Changing the settings takes practice and is not intuitive. For example, placing apps on the Media page is difficult and frustrating.
The audio is surprisingly quiet. I find myself turning the volume very loud to watch movies compared to television despite the fact that I am using the same streaming services for both. I think a sound bar is expected with this home-theater experience.
