Purchased this exclusively to use as a monitor for an Xbox. After a couple of years studying reviews for input lag and best gaming TV’s. I settled on this one over the LG. This is my third Samsung with the oldest being 12 years and going strong so I trust the brand. It did require many passes at adjusting the picture settings in game mode. Fortunately, the advanced settings give more than adequate adjustment range for to get the image to my liking. I have my old Samsung sitting next to it and while that one is a good gaming TV every time I turn on the new one I have the same reaction. OLED is just soooo much better. Very pleased. One word of caution, Amazon informed me of a date for deliver. They later changed this and delivered early leaving a 65″ OLED on my porch when I was not at home and in the rain. Packing saved it and fortunately my neighborhood is fairly trust worthy but just the same. Stay on top of Amazon if make a similar purchase.

UPDATE 3 months in – PLEASE READ – If you get the black lines on your TV like in my last picture I have a solution for you. I saw a lot of reviews giving negative stars for this very thing. I called Samsung support, they had no solutions. I found in the solution that fixed my issue for me. It was the pixel refresh that cleared the vertical black lines away.
1. Press the Home button on the Smart Remote and navigate to Menu > Settings > All Settings.
2. Navigate to General & Privacy > Panel Care.
3. Select Pixel Refresh.
4. Select Start Now or Start After TV off.
Now back to the review:
The Samsung S90C in a seriously ultra-thin design that immediately catches the eye. Pretty much everyone who has come over and cant believe how thin it is, and how beautiful the image is.
Picture Quality: Amazing, it handles day time viewing like a champ, I have a sunny living room and I have no issues seeing the image.
Design: Again, how thin this thing is. Remote is amazing and simple.
Smart Features: I use a firestick, BUT there is a built in Samsung TV service thats free that has a surprising amount of channels and actual content. There is local TV and random big network channels avaible to watch. You can also use your smart phone as a remote if you download the Samsung app, which is super super useful. Especially if you cant find your remote.
Connectivity: Multiple HDMI and USB ports and also Digital Audio in which I couldn’t get confirmation it had one until I purchased the TV.
Audio: Can’t speak to it, using a surround sound system.
Motion Handling: Handles it well, I am oldschool and I actually turn off all the motion blending.
Potential Considerations:
Price: Expensive, but for the currently price, and after months of research, I don’t think today you can can anything that is more B for the Buck then this TV
Brightness in Well-Lit Rooms: In dark rooms amazing, but if you are getting direct sunlight it can get a bit washed out, but its in a sunny room currently and I don’t have much of a issue.
Gaming Performance: Haven’t done any gaming on TV.
Remote: The remote is powered by a solar panel in the back of the remote. You can also charge it by USB. So far i’ve had no connectivity issues with the remote, or power issues.
Conclusion:
The Samsung S90C is a solid OLED TV at a solid price. After months of research and youtube views I landed on this model, and so far I am still thrilled (4months later) with my purchase!

ONE YEAR UPDATE:
I bought this tv to be our main living room centerpiece for media consumption. It was my first OLED television and took a great deal of research to feel comfortable making taking the leap to buy.
We have been very please with the incredible size and picture quality of provides for literally every type of viewing. The smart features make it a versatile choice for gaming, sports, streaming, and physical format cinema.
Since it is placed in the center of our living space, the appearance of the model was very important. It does not disappoint. With an incredibly slim profile and clean lines, it maintains a modern vibe for the room where it is mounted.
The performance has been spectacular. With smart features that I have barely scratched the surface on, the tv manages to intelligently adapt to our viewing needs with little adjusting. I chose to link it directly to Ethernet through an AppleTV for the OS, but it has not needed it.
The sound is purely amazing. As a default, I employ soundbars and surround on all my theater setups, but itโs not necessary with this model. There have been time when the soundbar disconnected and it simply was not missed. Iโve never heard a flat screen with fuller sound!
Weโve been very pleased with this Samsung, and look forward to expanding the fleet of like tech around the house. My only complaint would be the simplicity of the remote, but I suppose the alternative would be cumbersome.
Pro Tip: Link it up with your echo Alexa devices and you can control the power, volume, and control functions hands free!

I’ve had this 65″ OLED S90C TV for just over 7 months now and have not had a single issue with it. Knowing that reviews started OLED might not perform well in bright rooms (as opposed to QLED), I gave it a chance anyway. I’m not disappointed. It is plenty bright enough for my family room with a large east facing sliding door. At night, OLED just excels with its ability to display HDR content and true blacks.
I’ve had several Samsung devices, including a previous 10+ year old 40″ LED HD TV this one replaced. Never any issues with them. My only wish is I had more room to mount a TV larger than 65″… I would have gone for the 85″. I was blown away with how thin and light this thing is for its size. Paired with a new ONKYO TX-RZ50 and true Dolby 5.1.4 Atmos sound system (not some sound bar, rather a full surround system speaker setup), it is amazing to watch movies again and listen to immersive audio.
