I rarely ever, ever, ever, leave a review. This JBL honestly was beyond worth it and exceeded my expectations.
You will have to download the app to utilize the equalizer; however, you must adjust the equalizer on your phone first, and then the application of music you’re using: Amazon, Panora, Spotify, etc. Once you have that all set then you can adjust the bass, mids, and treble as “overall” adjustments through the app on your phone (JBL).
It is beyond well worth the money. Super easy to set up, duper light, and way too darn loud…lol…Love this product and have always respected this brand JBL/Harman.

The JBL Boombox 2 has truly impressed me in every way! Right out of the box, it was so easy to set up and start usingโBluetooth pairing is a breeze, and the controls are intuitive. Whether Iโm indoors or outdoors, this speaker delivers incredible sound quality. It fills the house with deep bass and crisp highs, making everything from music to podcasts sound amazing.
Durability is where this speaker really shines. Iโve strapped it to the back of my quad for rides, and itโs even taken a few falls with no issues at allโit still works perfectly! Itโs built like a tank, yet it still looks sleek and modern. I love the design; itโs bold and stylish, so it fits in anywhere, whether in my living room or out in the yard.
As for power, this thing is a beast. The sound doesnโt just fill a roomโit dominates it. Outdoors, the sound can be a little softer in wide-open spaces, but it still packs a punch and bumps hard. The battery life is fantastic, giving me hours of non-stop playtime without needing to charge. Itโs my go-to for any outdoor activity or gathering.
In short, the JBL Boombox 2 is incredibly easy to use, sounds amazing, and is tough enough to handle anything I throw at it. It looks great, sounds even better, and keeps going strong no matter where I take it. Highly recommend!

We have the bose 700 soundbar that we bought in 2020 for about 700$ I feel this Boombox for the price is quite good. Not has powerfull has the bose 700 but for a portable unit of that price the sound and bass is quite nice. We even paired it with the charge 5. Very cool

Let me start by saying that I am an audiophile, especially 2 channel. My go to speakers are Klipsch not the ones that rhyme with Rose. They are for popularity purposes and donโt sound good. With that said Klipsch does not make boat speakers and I have had JBL boat speakers for EVER, on our third boat, changed them all out for JBL. They sound great and are durable and MBโs are junk..they get hot and burn out. Wanted a good Bluetooth awhile back and went with a JBL Charge 3 in 2017. Wasnโt impressed with the Klipsch Bluetooth then. Well our Charge 3 just quit. Pretty good run. Could have changed out the battery I guess but decided to upgrade. It was a no brainer going with JBL again. Very reliable product. Decided to go bigger with the Boombox 2. Purchased on 2/10/24 and received on 2/11/24. We like to use this on the beach, dinghy, boat, all places. I must say after listening to the Boombox we might get kicked off the beach! Wow! Impressive sound! Donโt listen to others who are not audiophiles. I saw other posts about downloading the JBL app for improving sound with an equalizerโฆ.meh. We use Spotify which also has an equalizerโฆit does, look it up. Much better. Anywayโฆonly had for one day but canโt wait for this summer!!

Es un buen producto, la calidad de audio de los artรญculos JBL es innegable, de fรกcil transportaciรณn, algo costoso eso si, no es un artรญculo tal vez de un costo mรกs elevado en relaciรณn al producto, pero cuando lo escuchas sonar, vale la pena, 160 wats de salida en util en espacios abiertos con un estรกndar de sonido aceptable, no el mรกs potente tal vez ,pero siempre conserva la nitidez del sonido, si no fuera tan costos compraba dos y las vinculada via sus sistema jbl boost conection

Been using this for a year now and all is good. I expected better sound, but for what it is it does a good job. Living on a State Route, traffic noise can be a problem, between screaming 18 wheelers and tractors going past, but this sound prevails. The battery life is not the best, but I mostly run it on the cord anyway, so that is not an issue for me. I do think it is a bit overpriced for the performance it gives, so look to buy it on sale and you will be happier. Note: it is a heavy speaker. You won’t want to take it on a mountain hike. ๐
