These headphones have a lot of features, especially after setting everything up trough the app. They automatically pause after removal and they even adapt noise cancelling depending on the activity you do. Very comfortable and nice build quality. Awesome sound, that can also be adjusted with an equalizer and a personalized sound set up process, so you can readjust the sound for the addition of bass and such. Amazing headphones, the best I’ve had so far.

These headphones are just bang for the bucks!! Im a basic audio enthusiast and an avid music lover.. My personal taste of audio is a mixed one.. I waited so long and after many years Sony ultimately launched this ULT headphone that perfectly fits my taste of music.. I usually prefer only headphones for listening music and watching movies as they completely cover up your ears and drives powerful audio straight to your sealed ears.. That is a different experience than the in ear or TWS ones.. And I definitely need BASS without any compromise on mid section, the highs, sound to be rich, clean with decent stereo staging.. This one satisfies all that.. I do use EQ to tweak settings for my taste and once setup, hell yeah it is just out of the world!! I dont understand why many reviews downplay music quality like mids, highs, crispness, stereo staging etc but this one does all that with that massive bass too!! Either there are headphones with rich audio clarity but lacks on bass or there are the other bassy ones that makes other aspects sound trash.. But this one for me is an all rounder.. Music which has only rich vocals, string sections without much bass lines too sound soo good same as music with immersive bass.. By bass I dont mean just the upper bass which gives you headache but the really low end rumbles extending deeper to sub 20Hz or even less which you can actually feel.. I feel like Im in an IMAX theatre or somewhere straight into the studios after I put this up.. Even for ppl who dont like bass there is an option to completely switch it off.. For me it works wonders with the first ULT mode.. That is damn impressive.. Everyone whom I asked to listen this was just blown away.. I really love it..
I have tried many brands like Sennheiser Momentum plus (diaphragm distortion) even at moderate volume so returned back, then JBL not satisfied with audio quality though had bass, then some new companies like SonicLamb which fakes the bass (No bass less than 40Hz or so but will fake with some artificial vibrations) which I threw to trash.. Finally this is the real and clean one for my budget..
I don’t even look into Noise cancelling as I mostly listen music only indoors but this actually does a pretty good job and silences the outer noise by almost half.. Most of the times I don’t even need it indoors..
Likewise i rarely make calls with this but that is pretty good as well..
Bluetooth connection and latency is fine for me as I’m not gamer.. Connection is very stable and it can connect two devices at once..
Battery is also pretty good so as the charging time..
If I have to speak about some cons, the headphone always runs with noise cancelling mode on by default even if you toggle it through headphone control.. Ambient noise mode off does not actually turn off, but the mics work even harder to amplify external noises so that you can hear everything around.. Everytime you have to get the app running and set like while detecting as ‘Staying’ then completely turn off noise cancelling feature.. As a person who is not interested much on this aspect I don’t have to put this extra load to the headphone and I have to switch it off manually through the app everytime.. And I also prefer the headphones to be more louder.. Some movies or videos have very low volume and even at highest volume it’s not loud enough.. But these are manageable and overall I think Sony really nailed with this headphone..!!

I brought these headphones to replace my cowin e7 headphones which cost a fraction of what these cost. You get what you pay for. These Sony ult headphones sound amazing! I’m a bass head I listen to lots of hip hop especially songs which I know has lots of low end bass to them. This headset handles it effortlessly. The cowin e7 does not have the bass response these have not even close . Very deep smooth and controlled not overwhelming. The highs and clarity are very good as well. The headsets block out outside noise very well feels like a soundproof vacuum when I put them on. And they are comfortable to wear even for hours at a time . One thing I must say. I use these headsets with my iPhone 14 and especially with older hip hop songs the volume on the phone doesn’t cut it for me. So I ordered a riworal ph400 headphone amplifier 4 channel for like 35 bucks on Amazon. This amp combined with the Sony ult headphones is a game changer far as sound and deep bass is concerned. My iPhone is actually longer than the amp itself but the amp is a half inch thicker.Very small compact size: I get the volume clarity and deep clean bass when I use the amp and headphones together. Too bad amp is not battery powered but it’s a great sounding amp. Djs use this to amplify their headphones in noisy environments. I love the fact the knobs glow different colors very nice illumination! I only turn up the volume about a 1/4 of what’s it’s capable of but it’s plenty loud at that volume! Even at high levels on this amp the Sony ult headphones handle it no problem . For people who use their phone to listen to music with you may want to consider a headphone amp. Should have brought one before when I first got the idea in my head .These Sony headphones are well worth the price !
Update : I have used on several occasions and owned them for quite a while now . So like I said previously they sound awesome. Charge lasts for quite a while !! I don’t use the noise canceling feature it drains the battery a lot faster. These block out most outside noise without the feature activated. Only one bad thing with these . On my Samsung 75 inch tv these won’t connect via Bluetooth. I googled it and found an article confirming my suspicions were accurate. Flat screen Samsungs won’t connect via Bluetooth with these ult headsets. I love these headsets!!!

I think they’re nice, but I don’t think there is base heavy as to the Skullcandy headphones. I think there is no brand on this planet that produces bass of the skull, rattling quality than Skullcandy. However, these are so comfortable… Not as comfortable as the Skullcandy headphones, the ANC Crushers, but it’s OK
The battery life is insane and it’s on power with the Skullcandy battery life and if I was to really get into it, I would say that their battery life is the best.
The controls are very easy and I love the fact that when you take it off a positive song and when you put it on back, it plays the song. I like the fact that it has multipoint connectivity so it connects to both my iPhone and my MacBook at the exact same time and I have the 2018 MacBook, so that’s actually really great.
It’s not as loud as I wanted it to be but other times it’s extremely loud and I can’t pinpoint if it’s just my ears or if it’s really my preference. But sometimes it’s loud sometimes it’s not. I don’t know what that is but it’s not low.
That being said, it does have a lot of bass and you definitely do hear the boom from the bass, but like I said it’s not as powerful as Skullcandy, but I think it’s a little bit clearer and A lot less muddled.
The microphone is good and sometimes it’s not, but I will have the headphone like maybe arms length from where I am and I’ll be talking and the person can still hear me or when I’m using dictation or speech to text, it’s still picking up what I’m saying, even though I’m nowhere near the headphone.
I love the fact that it has built-in protection for sudden increases in the volume. So like when I have my phone in my hand sometime, I’ll click the volume button and I’ll click it all the way up and sometimes I have to prepare myself because I think I’m gonna get my eardrums blown out, but what happens is if you suddenly turn up immediately it probably takes like half a second to fully get LOUD (peak)! and I think that’s great because it protects your eardrums.
It’s kind of shaped awkward when it’s on your ears, but I don’t mind it and like I said, I love the touch controls because it’s a lot easier than fidgeting with a whole bunch of buttons. It’s worth the price that I paid even though I didn’t really pay for it. I used gift card, but.
The personal sound with the app doesn’t really do much but I guess it’s OK. I like that it has a built-in equalizer, but even that doesn’t really do much. I will say this, the sound quality is a lot clearer from this headphone compared to the Skullcandy ANC crusher.
I love it.

Los audífonos son simpmemente escepcionales!!
Tenía mis dudas en comprarlos pero me ayudé de varios reviews en youtube y realmente muchos si no es que todos comentaban que eran de los mejores del mercado al momento, sobre todo en costo/beneficio es un equilibrio muy balanceado, si bien comentan que tanto de la marca misma como de otras hay mejores audífonos, estos no juegan nada mal y realmente compiten con varios modelos de costos mayores… Sin duda muy recomendables!!!
Ahor bien en cuanto al producto, anteriormente tenía usaba unos WH-CH520, el audio es bueno, pero los bajos son cortos ya que es un aspecto que no cubren los audifonos sin embargios los medios y agudos son bastante buenos, pero con estos ULT, los medios y los agudos se oyen cristalinos y los bajos ni se diga sobre todo con el modo ULT1, es el balance perfecto del bass, ya que por un amigo he usado unos crusher y los bajos ahí son brutales llegando casi al límite donde se sienten molestos (en mis gustos personales claro) estos el bajo no es tan alucinante como en ellos, sin embargo, los siento más firmes, más definidos!!!
En cuanto a la cancelación de audio, es muy buena, si bien no es perfecta si disminuye el ruido exterior considerablemente y si a esto le sumamos el buen nivel de volumen que tiene, no tendrás problema en perderte en tu música un rato estés donde estés, por otro lado el modo ambiente es de lo mejor que he escuchado, se escucha prácticamente igual que si no los llevaras puestos es excelente!!!
Y en cuanto a la comodidad, la verdad es que si son algo pesados a comparación de algunos otros modelos que he tenido, sin embargo al ser supraurales y tener un buen acolchamiento en las almohadillas, no se sienten tanto, lo que si es que se sienten muy abrigadores y en mi caso particular si me hacen sudar un poco, cosa que soluciono con un ventilador personal de escritorio ya que los uso principalmente para trabajar
En términos generales son perfectos, considerando, costo/beneficios, calidad de audio y calidad de construcción ya que aparte de todo, Sony argumenta que la construcción de estos audífonos es con plásticos reciclados así aparte de todo apoyamos al planeta

Only used them for a few hours, but I am in love. I watched so many videos and read so much on ANC headphones. Even though I watched all the videos and listened to them I was not expecting the power and cleanness of the bass. A little lower heavy (oc) but the app really sends the headphones home. Vocal settings seems to create the best sound for multi genre listening. Bass still slaps, but you can hear the crispness of the mid and highs. It makes everything sound full and dynamic. The highs don’t sound like crap. They’re perfect for what I needed. I’ve been surviving on Skull Candy, but my Hesh’s kept getting weird. So I was told to double down on some nicer headphone. Especially for ANC. The ANC is pretty amazing, not perfect, but definitely best I’ve had yet. I might need to look it up, but the Atmospheric setting doesn’t stay on. Batter charges fast, and we’ll see how it goes. Decent price for the quality. Plastic makes it a little cheaper, but I’ve seen worse on more expensive headphones. They’re still really easy to use for the most part. The touch and slide is super fun! And so far pretty comfy! Will probably report back in 6 months, but I’m satisfied. I chose the ULT, over the XM5, because the auto features can be disruptive. Also the Bass for the ULT is the nail in the coffin. Also didn’t like that the XM5 and that they didn’t fold. If these don’t work I might either get the XM5 or switch to BOSE.

Finally, after years of wishing something that can rival the booming sound of my 910Ns, Sony graced us with headphones that don’t try to sell their entire being on ANC. Sure, it is there, but the focus is BASS. I have always been happy to tradeoff “perfect clarity” for the highs for more mids and rumbling, skull-shaking bass. I love the fact that you can program the ULT button for a quick 1 and 2 level up for bass, and even the default sound is great. At least in comparison to my XM4, 910Ns, and other Sony headphones, these have a tighter/better seal on my ears, which helps with noise cancellation. Comfort and clarity are of course better in the flagships (XM5s) but overall, I have never been happier with a purchase (especially with a holiday deal) and I pray Sony continues blessing us Bassheads with eye-watering, skull-shaking bass! 10/10.

AGAIN believing in SONY, I bought this ULT WEAR. This is what you can expect from Sony. Fantastic headphone with true sound quality, awesome bass, a very good battery life and comfortable fit. ANC is very good at this price point. The headphone and the included hard carrying case looks premium. Sound quality is incredible. Now this is ULT power sound so, you get ULT 1 & ULT 2 Even the ULT setting is off, you also get bass but on ULT 1 , you get a decent amount of bass and ULT 2 , the punchy bass and deep sound make the earcups vibrate but this doesn’t make the rest of the music muddy. Also you can make it more right from the app. Overall great quality headphone. Every ULT products win including this headphone. BELIEVE IN SONY DON’T LISTEN TO NEGATIVE COMMENTS.

Ahor bien en cuanto al producto, anteriormente tenía usaba unos WH-CH520, el audio es bueno, pero los bajos son cortos ya que es un aspecto que no cubren los audifonos sin embargios los medios y agudos son bastante buenos, pero con estos ULT, los medios y los agudos se oyen cristalinos y los bajos ni se diga sobre todo con el modo ULT1, es el balance perfecto del bass, ya que por un amigo he usado unos crusher y los bajos ahí son brutales llegando casi al límite donde se sienten molestos (en mis gustos personales claro) estos el bajo no es tan alucinante como en ellos, sin embargo, los siento más firmes, más definidos!!!
En cuanto a la cancelación de audio, es muy buena, si bien no es perfecta si disminuye el ruido exterior considerablemente y si a esto le sumamos el buen nivel de volumen que tiene, no tendrás problema en perderte en tu música un rato estés donde estés, por otro lado el modo ambiente es de lo mejor que he escuchado, se escucha prácticamente igual que si no los llevaras puestos es excelente!!!
Y en cuanto a la comodidad, la verdad es que si son algo pesados a comparación de algunos otros modelos que he tenido, sin embargo al ser supraurales y tener un buen acolchamiento en las almohadillas, no se sienten tanto, lo que si es que se sienten muy abrigadores y en mi caso particular si me hacen sudar un poco, cosa que soluciono con un ventilador personal de escritorio ya que los uso principalmente para trabajar
En términos generales son perfectos, considerando, costo/beneficios, calidad de audio y calidad de construcción ya que aparte de todo, Sony argumenta que la construcción de estos audífonos es con plásticos reciclados así aparte de todo apoyamos al planeta

Only used them for a few hours, but I am in love. I watched so many videos and read so much on ANC headphones. Even though I watched all the videos and listened to them I was not expecting the power and cleanness of the bass. A little lower heavy (oc) but the app really sends the headphones home. Vocal settings seems to create the best sound for multi genre listening. Bass still slaps, but you can hear the crispness of the mid and highs. It makes everything sound full and dynamic. The highs don’t sound like crap. They’re perfect for what I needed. I’ve been surviving on Skull Candy, but my Hesh’s kept getting weird. So I was told to double down on some nicer headphone. Especially for ANC. The ANC is pretty amazing, not perfect, but definitely best I’ve had yet. I might need to look it up, but the Atmospheric setting doesn’t stay on. Batter charges fast, and we’ll see how it goes. Decent price for the quality. Plastic makes it a little cheaper, but I’ve seen worse on more expensive headphones. They’re still really easy to use for the most part. The touch and slide is super fun! And so far pretty comfy! Will probably report back in 6 months, but I’m satisfied. I chose the ULT, over the XM5, because the auto features can be disruptive. Also the Bass for the ULT is the nail in the coffin. Also didn’t like that the XM5 and that they didn’t fold. If these don’t work I might either get the XM5 or switch to BOSE.

Finally, after years of wishing something that can rival the booming sound of my 910Ns, Sony graced us with headphones that don’t try to sell their entire being on ANC. Sure, it is there, but the focus is BASS. I have always been happy to tradeoff “perfect clarity” for the highs for more mids and rumbling, skull-shaking bass. I love the fact that you can program the ULT button for a quick 1 and 2 level up for bass, and even the default sound is great. At least in comparison to my XM4, 910Ns, and other Sony headphones, these have a tighter/better seal on my ears, which helps with noise cancellation. Comfort and clarity are of course better in the flagships (XM5s) but overall, I have never been happier with a purchase (especially with a holiday deal) and I pray Sony continues blessing us Bassheads with eye-watering, skull-shaking bass! 10/10.

AGAIN believing in SONY, I bought this ULT WEAR. This is what you can expect from Sony. Fantastic headphone with true sound quality, awesome bass, a very good battery life and comfortable fit. ANC is very good at this price point. The headphone and the included hard carrying case looks premium. Sound quality is incredible. Now this is ULT power sound so, you get ULT 1 & ULT 2
Even the ULT setting is off, you also get bass but on ULT 1 , you get a decent amount of bass and ULT 2 , the punchy bass and deep sound make the earcups vibrate but this doesn’t make the rest of the music muddy. Also you can make it more right from the app. Overall great quality headphone. Every ULT products win including this headphone. BELIEVE IN SONY
