Beverly J. Diperna –
Theyโre not really comfortable theyโre kind of hard to get in and they donโt have the sound that the Apple did sorry or that my beats headphones have.
Tyler Wagner –
For the price I want expecting anything great but these feel very short of that. Sound quality is not super great, the mids and highs are all you hear so they sound ok for an audio book but not great with music. The battery life is what you expect. But only a month after buying them they will only auto connect to my phone when I pulled them out of the case about 25% of the time the rest of the time I have to go into settings and manually connect them. And now theyโve gotten to where when I get it to say theyโre connected, it makes the chime in the earbud like it is but zero sound or anything comes through either of the earbuds and Iโm at the point where I have to go through customer support center to try to do something with it what a pain.

First impressions on receiving: box, packaging and design definitely on the cheaper side. Seemed borderline fake to me. The actual product inside seems nice, fairly light and small but not too light as to feel unreliable. There is no indicator light anywhere on the case that would give a clue about the status of the pairing, battery etc. Pairing supposed to work simply by opening the lid near your phone. Nothing happened when I opened it (other than a low level sound effect coming from the case. I did charge it, so that should not be the problem.) Then I tried pairing manually but the device does not show up anywhere among the paired devices or list of devices available to pair. Then I tried following the instructions on their dedicated product page. For Android it says that one should download the Beats App from the Play store. And so I did, but this specific model, SOLO BUDS, is not listed as an available product to pair. I’m giving up and sending it back.

They look great, fit great & come with the extra sizes to fit anyone. Great quality sound and hold a charge way longer than my AirPods.
Rudy –
Arrived on time, easy to setup on iPhone, iPad and AppleTv. For me sound quality is pretty good for reasonably priced ear buds.

hey, if youโre worried about buying AirPods for your kids or you just lose AirPods, theyโre the best alternative they fit in with your Apple ecosystem. You can track them and beep them just like you came with. Theyโre great budget alternative I lose my AirPods all the time so I bought these guys I saw them on YouTube, they actually work really well 1010 I lost a par already and I bought a replacement and then I gave the red pair that I bought for my dad also the red ones they kinda look like the Nintendo 64 with it being Translucent.

Caught a Prime Day Special and got a good price. LOVE THEM! Earbuds are comfortable and have excellent sound quality.
Haley Willnerd –
My son kept using my beats earbuds so we bought him a set. These are compact and have great sound. Beats are worth every penny!
John Porterfield –
These are great ear buds and I use them daily for workouts. Sound quality is great, but volume could be louder. Lacking in features to control without using your phone.
Viktor S. –
The volume was very low at first but I played around with the audio settings and the hooked it up to the charger and ta-daaa! It works soo good, I just got it today

The Beats Solo Buds fall short of expectations, offering subpar performance that doesn’t justify their price tag. I am returning these. These earbuds should be priced no higher than $50 given their significant limitations. Sound quality is the most disappointing aspect of the Solo Buds. While Beats has delivered impressive audio in some of their higher-end models, they’ve clearly cut corners here. The bass lacks depth and punch, while the mids and highs sound muddy and lack clarity. Even with Spatial Audio enabled on compatible tracks, the overall audio experience remains underwhelming.
Another major drawback is the Solo Buds’ limited functionality. Unlike many competitors in this price range, these earbuds lack active noise cancellation, transparency mode, and wear detection. The absence of these features, which are increasingly common even in budget earbuds, severely hampers their versatility and user experience.
Volume is another area where the Solo Buds struggle. Even at maximum settings, they fail to deliver sufficient loudness for many listening environments. This inadequacy is particularly noticeable in noisier settings like gyms or public transportation, where users may find themselves straining to hear their audio content.
The physical controls on the Solo Buds are also problematic. The buttons are uncomfortable to press and can cause discomfort when used frequently. This poor design choice further detracts from the overall user experience. While the Solo Buds do offer some positives, such as a compact design and decent battery life, these advantages are overshadowed by their fundamental shortcomings in sound quality and functionality.

Very poor quality build. Very cheap. Very flimsy.
On my iphone 8, I do not see a bluetooth battery bar to tell me how much is left.
The beats by dre solo does not que in with any audible notifications on battery life either.
Whats worse, is that this is not a battery case. Which is astonishing in this day and age. Meaning when you dock the headphone, no charging occurs whatsoever.
The only good thing about these, is that the clarity is ok (acceptable). And it is able to connect and then switch between using 1 or 2 ear pieces L or R at any time extremely quickly. Almost too quickly, makes me wonder if audio is playing on the second piece while its in the case, since there is no battery to disrupt the power and cause it to charge like on all the other earpieces out there.
The last pro, is that it is small, and it isn’t trying to do too much at one time. There doesn’t seem to be any sesnitive touch controls that you may trigger on accident. I like this simplicity. And the form factor is actually exceptional. It is shaped so that you can easily grasp them and plug into ear. Once in, they are very small and unassuming. You can be on a video call, and people may not notice you have an ear piece in.
I cant comment on the microphone, don’t use it.
Overall, for 80 bucks, this is a hard no. The build quality and poor overall sound quality and poor battery management are all deal breakers on their own. But put together, makes me greatly regret purchasing these.
