All seems good though we did add an LG sound bar but probably an overkill.

the sound is really not that good. you can hear where the bass driver is located and without it the sound is weak. iT is powered by a little transformer, weak.. It’s definitely not Hifi gear. i cant return it and wont use it… maybe good for a little room, apartment or something like that. i will give it away

I seem to have received a faulty unit. While the initial pairing with the subwoofer was not seamless, I was happy with the audio and Dolby Atmos performance. After a few weeks, the subwoofer rarely pairs with the soundbar and it makes popping sounds when it struggles to maintain a connection. The soundbar is connected to the TV via HDMI and the wireless subwoofer is only a couple of feet away. Distance or interference do not account for the connectivity problems. I’ve factory reset the the soundbar (e.g. hold the sound effects button on the remote simultaneously with volume down on the side of the soundbar) and re-paired the subwoofer, but it has not helped. The subwoofer is half of the audio system so losing it doesn’t just result in bassless audio, but in sound inferior to that of the TV speakers. I’m still within the return period and UPS shipping will be free, but I’ve already thrown out its packaging. I’m on the hook for boxing it up and Amazon isn’t guaranteeing a full refund.

Bought this sound bar on my son’s advice to go with our new TV. Just WOW! It’s better than the theater!! I have trouble hearing the voices when there’s a lot of background noise but this sound bar was very clear and I could here everything. Love this!!

This thing constantly won’t play any sound. It has to be restarted for the sound to work. Sounds simple enough but it’s almost always frozen on! The only way to restart it is to take it off the wall and unplug it. The subwoofer randomly drops. The audio makes a weird interference noise that’s most noticable during quiet scenes of a movie. Overall I almost hate this thing. Waste of my money

Work well with my LG TV but you need an Ethernet capable hdmi cable to use the ARC connection on your tv.
Occasionally it shuts off and reverts back to tv audio. Will replace arc cable but not hopeful. The arc connection is cool because when you turn on the tv the bar comes on automatically. And your tv remote talks thru the tv to adjust bar volume. Sub woofer is very nice.
If the problem persists I will use the toslink connection but will need to use the soundbar remote.

So I was almost ready to return this thing. Since purchasing and setting it up to my LG OLED G1 tv I was having the sound cut out on pretty much anything I ran Dolby atmos on, like my xbox series x, all streaming apps you can think of(hulu, Disney plus, Plex, HBO, Amazon etc) This issue seems to be well documented across reviews on many different sites including LGโs. I tried Monsterโs high end hdmi gold plated cable and every tip mentioned for the settings on my TV, still nothing. Until a week ago. My TP-Link router started to die, so I grabbed the Netgear Nighthawk RAX50 router cause it is $100 off on Amazon right now($300 everywhere else, $197 on Amazon) and now I have had zero issues with the sound cutting out. This router is a beast compared to my last one, and is meant for 4KUD streaming and everything else you can think of. This soundbar sounds amazing 100% of the time now, the bass is perfect for the smaller room we have it in(7×15) too. Glad this worked out, hopefully this helps someone else.

It stopped working in a month. It turns on and off with the TV, it shows itโs connected to the TVโฆ and it just doesnโt play sound anymore. Iโm at a loss for what Iโm supposed to even do with it now. Even if we could get a refund, I doubt the folks at LG are going to compensate us for the cost of mounting it and the cost of patching up the hole in the wall itโs going to leave behind. If youโre in the market for a soundbar, please, please, please consider getting something else.
