If you are looking for a receiver that can support 4K120/HDR/VRR/ALLM then look no further. This one does the job. And does it well. So long as you pair it with a supporting Panel that is.
Your cables need to be 48Gbps on the HDMI front. And they need to do the correct handshake on the TV to work. These cables here work.
The Setup using the Microphone is pretty nice. My old unit had a similar thing but it did not do this kind of work. Denon has you place the Mic stand in 6 different locations and then it will read you what changes it made and even what kind of phase your speakers are in. I had no idea that 4 of my 8 were out of phase. I have no idea if this made a difference in sound but once you correct it, they will test good across the board.
The UI is pretty nice all things considered. I know almost every unit has some basic UI but this one doesn’t lag, does what you want it to and is easy to understand. The Sony unit I had before had a great looking UI, but sometimes it lagged and sometimes it needed help.
Sound output is amazingly clear. I have this paired with some Polk Audio using a Sony Sub Woofer. And it sounds unlike anything I’ve heard compared to my previous receiver. I am hearing sounds that I didn’t even know existed. It’s been a great experience. And I haven’t even tried the Dolby Atmos yet. I need to get 2 more speakers for that. But I will be giving it a try soon!
This unit was about half the cost here compared to the Denon website. I think for the money, its the best bang for the buck.
I liked it so much, I bought another for my office. This is great.
Bought this AVR from Amazon due to supply chain disruption leaving Dubai with no supply on mid spec AVR. I spend more time deciding on a step down transformer due to the 120v rating of the AVR and the 240v rating at home. Managed to get one from Amazon again and been a few weeks. No complains so far. Hopefully this one will last as long as a my previous decade old Onkyo.

Pros: worm sound as you expect from a Denon, easy to use and many features for the money. Cons: buttons don’t feel quality as my previous Denon, smelled so strong out of the box (almost returned it) remote feels terribly cheap and the clocks are loud. I was looking for replacing my Yamaha Rx679 since it went faulty and lying with service center for more than 5 months since the part was not available. Finally I could find a part in US but that costing more than the device itself :-(. The sound is good and I am using it with 5.1 setup with Yamaha NS-SP1800 (I am not a fan of loud sound). It comes with a setup mic with a paper stand. Setup was showing an error with one speaker phase change(I didn’t look into much) and I ignored it during setup. There were multiple movie/music mode, dialog enhancer etc. One issue I found with a movie where the background music was loud but the dialog was not very audible(may be a setting issue, I didn’t check much). There was a firmware update I got after I setup. The connections to the AVR from cable, Firestick was smooth and the speaker connection can be used with direct wire or banana plug. The seller that I bought had very poor rating, but I took a chance. I got the device is thick bubble wrap and the device was sealed. When I checked about the device in my area, they mentioned that at least for devices they sell, they keep the parts for devices sold 5 years back(Not sure if they repair if we bought from other seller). In general I heard the repair for AVR in India is not smooth. I have added a surge protector for this and I hope I won’t need to take it for repair…

Now that I have your attention this small receiver kicks ass with my denon spekers that I have . Sounds great bunch of stuf you can do radio ,dvd,,cd, it just sounds good easy insyall .Decent price great quality . It replaces a Hamon Kardon AVR 520 . Very expensive when I got it many many years ago.,the denon works very well.

First of all, it arrived a week and a half early so that was great! I have a 25 year-old Denon (no ARC support of course ~ new TV required an upgrade) so I was confident that the quality would be there, I was just unsure about how user friendly it would be to install as the old beast required just short of an engineering degree when operating the remote. Well, to my pleasant surprise this thing was dead-easy, walks you through the whole speaker set-up with the mike, and components…it was actually fun and, does it ever sound awesome! It put my old Wharfdales to the test and we can’t wait to get back into some killer home theatre. One of the reasons I chose this model is that it supports phono so I can still throw a record on the platter when the mood strikes. If you are looking for an upgrade I would recommend this receiver. The remote is very simple as well. So happy with this purchase…didn’t break the bank. Glad to see Denon still rocks!
The Denon AVR-S760H receiver has excellent sound quality. It has Bluetooth, WiFi, 7.2 channel, and 75 watts per channel. The remote has large visible keys and is easy to use. Great value for the money and the performance is excellent.

The system was working fine until I added surround speakers. I started with 2 floor-standing klipsch speakers with in-built height speakers and a klipsch center speaker .. the AVR worked fine till then. Once I added the surround speakers of klipsch the AVR stopped working. When trying to calibrate it, the AVR went in to a speaker protection mode initially and later it simply refused to start up with a red blinking light. Not to say the sound was not good before I added the surrounds but in my endeavour to make it sound even better I added the surrounds and .. boom ! I sent it for repair though UPS and it gets damaged during transit ! Not very hopeful to salvage anything out of it now but will try use it if the service center is able to fix it .. else it’s a good bye to Denon 😑

really hoping this lasts more than a few months but thinking it won’t. it makes a loud noise when it turns on&off. the box clicks. never heard an electronic do this. especially since the 80’s. but… right now… it works. still figuring it out, alot more complicated than any others me or my husband hav ever had, but… we’re just keeping our fingers crossed that it will work. for longer than a year etleast. but thinking it won’t. sounds like it was rolled down a stone road. can’t figure out how to get it to work unless it’s above 60,70. basically… up high. but assuming we just didn’t set it up right. my husband is good with stuff like this.. he’s installed a few a sound systems in cars, etc, so he’s not ignorant with speakers&electronics. BUT not skilled with receivers. he’s only had one previously. but says it’s all pretty similar. except that this one isn’t. so unless you’re really skilled with these, id go with another. we would have sent back, but… was hoping we’d just figure it out eventually. &the loud sound it makes when it turns off&on is just…. the box. &what if they send us another&it does the same thing. we couldn’t risk it because we only had a small window to return the speakers we got to go with it. &needed to know how well the speakers were.&they were much more expensive. so taking the risk&keeping it. but pretty sure our money on this has been wasted. pretty disappointed about it.

La calidad del receptor es excelente para el precio, aunque tiene 75 w de potencia es más que suficiente para llenar una sala de 20 a 30m2 a solo volumen 35, excelente inmersión en pelÃculas, atmos se escucha fantástico y en música se escucha perfecto ajustando algunos parámetros. hay que leer bien el manual para sacarle el máximo provecho al equipo, para garantizar una larga vida útil del equipo hay que integrarle un regulador delicado y tenerlo en un lugar con correcta ventilación. eARC funciona a la perfección con 4k/120 Hz. He tenido el AVR X2300W y este AVR S760H no le pide nada, los escucho iguales.

Não sou especialista na área. Escolhi este produto que é um modelo de entrada desta linha. Investi um pouco mais nas caixas (Surround e Sub Klipsh e Atmos da Polk). A princÃpio gostaria de um produto com alguns recursos de áudio adicionais: 7 canais, Atmos etc… Tem bons recursos na área de setup do aparelho. Consegui ajustar o Crossover e Level das caixas. Ouço algumas rádios pela internet e consegui também colocá-las na opção de favoritos deste recurso. O Airplay também ficou excelente. O grande problema que estou enfrentando é com o Atmos em filmes do Streaming Apple, Netflix e Prime, através da TV Samsung QT80. Quando o filme tem O Atmos disponÃvel,, o som do Receiver não funciona OK(fica picotado, horrÃvel). Já tentei de tudo, a TV tem o recurso do Atmos, já testei cabo HDMI certificado High Speed de 400 Reais, nada deu certo. Agora estou na dúvida onde está o problema. Já conectei a TV por cabo, tb nada feito. Agora estou verificando a questão da Latência de minha internet, está um pouco alta (à s vezes 100 Ms). Não sei se pode ser isto. A opção que tenho é no Receiver desabilitar o retorno de áudio pelo HDMI e habilitar o áudio via cabo Ótico. Mas só funciona o 5.1 acredito. Então ficou esta demanda do Atmos pra resolver.
*******29/01/24****** problema do ATMOS resolvido, o problema estava com a TV, o modelo tinha a opção disponÃvel mas não funcionou. Comprei um APPLE TV versão com 4K e ATMOS disponÃvel e tudo funcionou perfeito. Tudo resolvido. Aparelho TOP.
