What a difference these caps made! I have a vintage Sansui integrated amp, that sounds great. I noticed, though, the turntable noise (background needle on record) was more noticable than on my other stereo system. I purchased these caps to see if there would be a difference, and I can’t believe what a difference they made! Background noise is almost non-existence now. Nice heavy quality metal caps which fit over the RCA plugs on back of receiver or amp. I will be buying another set for my other stereo system.

Very well made with tight tolerances, aws one would expect from AudioQuest. I happen to own many of their products and reading one particular review, I was sceptical as to the proper fit. It turned out that the this claim about caps being loose is unsubstantiated. I ordered another set to cover the remaining RCA connectors on my receiver and XLR (balanced) connectors as well. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to ‘cover all the basis’ as far as superior sound is concerned. I also grounded the receiver using AudioQuest’s Ground Goody connector.

Not sure if you need these, or not, but I am a fanatic with my hobby and I like the idea of cleaning up the appearance of the back panel. Supposedly, these caps protect your system from unwanted EMI which may cause static or noise.
So, I capped all of the open RCA plugs on my AVR. These look sweet, are surprisingly heavy and solid looking and feeling and fit very snugly on the back. So snug, that I needed a pliers to remove one.
Works for me!

Very Impressed with the quality! If anything they stop dust, and keep the RCA jack ready for use

As a person who deeply appreciates music with Mcintosh. British ATC speakers and Nordost Heimdall interconnects and speaker cable, these caps do allow a quieter less distorted presentation. I have definitely noticed a difference as has my wife who isn’t into the music as much as I!

I bought 3 boxes and used these on our two different TV/DVD setups and noticed that the audio was better.
Cost is a little high, but worth it.

I bought these for new equipment that sits in a very dusty environment with a lot of RF interference.
They fit well but very tightly so are best suited for permanent installation.
I’m not certain if there’s a sonic improvement/reduction in RF interference as due to the tight fit I chose not to do a with/without comparison but my main concern was dust and they look great so worth it.

nicely made but a bit less snug than cardas.

Vorab:

They do not fit high quality RCA fittings!!!! One out of 10 in the box was loose enough to fit RCA. Get Cardas rca caps instead!

These caps DO WORK,but you must first address other issues in your system to get their full effect.First being good quality wiring.Interconnects and speaker cables should be the same brand to insure impedance matching.Secondly a power conditioner is critical for removing AC grunge. At least a decent power strip with high RFI filtration.A dedicated high end power conditioner is best but may be out of your budget.Using these caps will improve focus and detail in even a modest system.I have a Sony receiver a cd/dvd player and bookshelf speakers with a powered subwoofer with MIT Terminator 3 interconnects and a tripplite ultra isobar8 power strip.Adding just one cap on my cd players digital coax output made a noticeable improvement.
