HIDB Indoor TV Antenna with Magnetic Base

I haven’t had it very long, but so far, so good! I went from having four channels with a previous antenna to having eight channels with this one. I call that a win! It’s a lot smaller than my last antenna, has a strong magnet base and decently long cord (for my use in a small apartment) and is super affordable (I bought it at $17 at the time of review). It’s worth a try to see what channels it will get you in your area!

This is a very simple antenna to set up and install. I live in an area with limited signal strength and have a large OTA antenna that runs thru our old cable wires it’s outside on our roof but we have a TV that has no cable coax wire in our dining room running on wireless wifi. It is a honey not yet done so I bought this. I can now get the few channels that I expected and I was pleased it was very simple and delivered all the channels that I could expect based on signals in my area. Keeps things livable while I wait for connection to the larger antenna which let’s face it may never happen. Overall I felt this was a good product my only complaint was I didn’t have anything metal for the base to attach to. Kinda weird to only have that option but command strips keep it where I wanted.

I’ve had the square one you have to hang on the wall by a window and it was always hit or miss if it worked. This antenna is solid, easy and always works! I just sent to a friend as well, totally recommend it is impressive and easy!!!!

After cutting cable costs, I owned a Mohu antenna for 5 years. I have tried other antenna to replace it. This is by far the best reception & easiest to mount on its magnetic base . I face north away from the CN Tower and reception is clear picking up 8 channels. The most that I would ever watch CTV, TVO , Global ,City and Radio Canada all as clear even the best cable. I also pick up 3 ethic channels but do not watch them. If I still had cable I would have had to pay for them irrespective. The simple coaxial cable is so easy no need for a UHB port. I highly recommended this inexpensive product.

I don’t have cable so bought this to be able to get local tv stations and it works perfectly. I don’t have a window near the tv and was worried I would not get good reception but so do. I can get all local channels, PBS, WFLA, ABC as examples. Very pleased with this purchase and was a great price too.

J’habite la rive nord de MTL. Radio Canada et TQS bonne réception, ainsi que quelques autres chaînes anglaise. Utilisé à l’extérieur pour ma part, doit être déposé sur quelque chose de métallique pour être efficace, et la base est aimantée pour aider à cela.

I, an old geezer, finally cut the cable cord after moving to a new state. Outrageous prices, but I digress. I don’t miss it except for local stations, so bought this in hopes of getting them back.

It’s pretty decent, I was able to get a lot more channels than I thought, but depending on where I put it, I am always missing some. My current location gets me the most minus ABC and some derivatives (ironically the station I usually like best), so I’m keeping it here for now. You will likely have to play around with yours, but probably true for all these antennas. I do like the size of it and has the potential to not be noticed.

However, on the con side, apparently my tv is not very magnetic (the brackets are but are such it can’t hold it without leaning against the tv and poor reception) so it has to precariously sit on the narrow top making it easy to knock over or fall off requiring me to start over which is annoying. I may end up seeing if I can stick to the wall somehow to stabilize down the road, but this works for now.

For the price it works decently, I’m sure my location and other factors out of my and the antennas control are at play. I’m just happy to have local news and programming again so I can stay strong against cable! I do miss my DVR though…
