No problems so far

This is looking good, and a significant improvement over an old Sandisk 256gb that was the reason for the upgrade. Took an initial 200gb+ copy just fine, didn’t notice any throttling but I’ll admit I didn’t watch it every second of that couple of hours!
I’m not sure how old my card reader is, as far as getting the most out of this card (keep in mind if you view my posted stats). But working very well for my use case and needs.

As a former high school Photography and AP Studio art teacher…(Still teaching art for my 31st year), I take a LOT of photos for myself, our church, and my school. This is a nice storage amount to carry on trips, and I plan on LOTS more trips.

This SD card is very reliable and FAST – both read and write speeds are about the same at 80MB/s. Perfect for storing video game ROM files for classic consoles like the GameCube (GC)!
The SD card I received came with 931GB of free space and all indicators point to it not being a fake SD card. Speeds are consistent and it didn’t choke or die when I managed to place over 600GB of ROMs on it at one time, as fakes are known for doing.
I’ve set this up inside my GC Loader PnP, an SD card based disc replacement mod for the GC, with my full collection of games for the system and every single game I’ve tried runs perfectly fine without stuttering or crashing. This means this PNY card has a consistent read speed and does not fail to store and retrieve large files on it.
No issues so far, I took a chance on buying this card due to the lack of non-Vine reviews but I am very pleased by the performance and quality of this PNY 1TB SD card.
A great purchase and value for money, it was definitely worth the cost. (Plus, it was $100 cheaper than the equivalent SanDisk.)
I highly recommend this for the reliable storage and speed, especially if you need big files to stay on the card for a long time.

This SD Card works great in my Pentax K-50 and I am very happy with its speed and capacity. Great item, well worth the purchase price.

I bought this to use in my mirrorless camera. The capacity is just right for storing many high resolution photos. It reads/writes fast. The price was lower than other brands but works great so I saved money.

I would like to start by saying that I have been a professional fashion photographer in Los Angeles for about 18 years so this is a review from a photographer shooting photos with my camera and not video. I shoot several times a week for commercial clients and I’ve used the pro-level / high-end line of SD cards from all the major brands including: Sandisk, Lexar and ProGrade. I was looking for a 500gb card and decided to try out this one from PNY because in the past I have owned other “non-pro” PNY cards and never, ever had a problem with them, so I decided to give the brand a chance again… and boy am I surprised at the amazing value and performance that I’m getting so far from this card. First of all, after 2 months of shooting with it weekly I can tell you that it writes images just as fast as my ultimate, top-of-the-line ProGrade cards do, even though this PNY card is rated at only 90mb/s write speed and my ProGrade is rated at 250mb/s. Also, it downloads images just as fast as my ProGrade cards even though this PNY card is rated at 100mb/s read speed while the ProGrade is rated at 300mb/s. Oh! and did I mention that this card only cost around 74 dollars while the ProGrade only offers a max capacity of 256gb for around 250 dollars?? I will mention that if you are shooting high-end video then it does make sense to spend the extra money on the more expensive ProGear cards but only if you’re shooting high bandwidth 4K video in some form of log color space as this card’s write speed will not be able to keep up with that. But if you’re shooting regular 4K video this card should work just fine. In short, I have found this card’s performance is highly consistent and dependable in situations where high performance and high-speed capture is required for photography – otherwise I wouldn’t be using it. So in my opinion this sd card is up there with the best of them. You can spend a lot more money for high-end pro level cards for photography from other brands but you will not get better performance nor greater dependability, you will just spend a lot more money.
