I’m pleasantly surprised by the build quality. Its a little heavier than expected, but then i remembered weight when it comes to a tripod isn’t always a bad thing. Its not for backpacking, lets put it that way.
I’m only coming back to photography after a very long hiatus, so Neewer is a new company to me, this is my second purchase of their equipment and I’m not disappointed at all. I appreciate they have some reasonable entry level price points where they are providing some decent equipment without really sticking it to the customer

I got this stand to hold a DSLR for my uncles camera with a zoom lens attached. This tripod able to hold a the camera with a pretty heavy lens for his camera. The tripod has easy adjustable legs that are sturdy. I would highly recommend this tripod to someone who enjoys photography.

This tripod is a beast! It’s really heavy, but I use it ondoors so the weight isn’t an issue for me. It’s super sturdy and I love that it can be used traditionally and with the arm out. It does smooth panaroma from the arm and from the tripod head itself. With the tilt on the arm you can get your camera into almost any position imaginable. The bubble levels are a nice touch. I don’t use it as a monopod, but like the option if I ever go wild.
But minus a star for the tripod head grips on the knobs, and knob positioning. The grips on the knobs slipped and came off after the first use. It’s not a deal breaker but it is frustrating. The other frustrating thing is the positioning of the knob that tightens the camera to the tripod head. If you’re trying to use it with the camera positioned in that groove of the ball head (like it shows in the main image on the product page), it hits against the base of the tripod head and you have to reposition it to get the camera off. It also stops the head from becoming completely level at that angle. I was hoping to use this with the camera at the end of the arm sitting up like that but it won’t work for what I was hoping to do. It’s fine enough to just use it as a traditional tripod at that angle, but I was hoping it would work more like the picture shows.
It is excellent for overhead shots and flat lays, though, which is the best part about it.
My only regret is not getting the 79″ one. More height for the overhead shots would have been nice. However, the tripod head comes off and can be attached to a c-stand, so that’s pretty cool!

If you are between this and the KF Concept, get this one. build quality and feature set is way better. It is a little bit heavier, but if you cared about that you probably would not be looking at this product anyways.
Great Tripod at a good price. Would buy again.

This thing is sturdy! Iโve been iffy buying it because Iโve had bad experiences with prior tripod purchases from most places (here, Best Buy, B&H, etc). Iโve been using a modified surveyorโs tripod that works amazing, but is heavy and bulky. I needed something that could fold down to fit with my bag, as well as having the ability to shoot top down for recording MtG and Weiss Schwarz matches with both a Canon 80D and a GoPro. Iโve used it in nature shoots as well, putting it inside water (make sure to unscrew the feet to drain it if you do) and itโs currently living as a webcam tripod for my DSLR. Just remember if you
Use the horizontal feature to weight the other end to help stabilize it. I just used my camera bag (with a backup camera, other lens, and batteries) and that worked fine.

Stevig, robuust, maar wat aan de te zware kant voor mij persoonlijk.
Ook te hoog voor mij met de poten volledig uitgeschoven. Ik moet de poten weer iets inschuiven, dit is niet praktisch voor mij persoonlijk.

Iโm incredibly impressed with this tripod. It is very sturdy and feels well-built, and it will last for a really long time. My main reason for purchasing this particular tripod was for overhead photos and videos, and it’s perfect for that. Other reviewers mentioned that the bag it comes in isn’t the best quality, which I somewhat agree with, but the tripod is so sturdy and sound I don’t care about the bag! I highly recommend this for the price point and quality!

Itโs heavy but worth every penny if youโre looking for a sturdy tripod for heavy camera and lenses. It holds my canon 6D mark II with an 80mm L series lens and I do not have to worry about it tipping over. Very nice quality for this money but it is a little on the heavy side if youโre doing a hiking in the mountains shoot. Be a warrior carry the heavy one.

This is what I was looking for in a camera tripod. It is very sturdy and adjustable. It can adjust to take horizontal photos near the ground or overhead shots from the max extension of the legs or eye level shots with the legs and center post extended. The ball swivel is large and locks solidly. It seems very well built and I expect it to last a very long time. The QR plate is small and can stay of the camera without getting in the way for handheld shots. The carrying bag is padded and good enough for my purposes. It is a little heavy and big for long distance backpacking but that’s not what I bought it for. I wanted a sturdy, versatile tripod that I could carry on short hikes if needed but on longer hikes I just shoot handheld. It is also a little annoying that you can start to unscrew the head when you pan, but once you learn to avoid this it’s OK.
