only thing i wish i knew ahead is that 7000 series are generally really hot I would prob go w water block but its fine there are plenty of ways to lower temps on youtube before that I was looking at the sky rocking 40 to 70C just to open youtube and in games it would stably be around 70-80 but I could lower it to 65-70 max in games so overall its a good purchase besides that, I’m getting Thermalright AM5 CPU Contact Frame to cut another 5C off if possible, and mb for the next setup I would need a water cooler but I don’t think its really necessary

This is an excellent CPU for the price. It has handled everything I have tried with little issue. I’ve got it paired with a 7900GRE and it works really well at 1440p. So far I haven’t seen anything run under 150fps. With a Phantom Spirit 120SE, a Thermalright contact frame and Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut Extreme, it idles between 35 and 40C and I have yet to see it over 65C under load, so it’s not hard to keep cool.
