My old power supply was tapping out when my graphics card would kick in to high gear. It was difficult to diagnose but I pulled a hail-mary and bought this to get the decent upgrade in wattage without wrecking my wallet. I don’t know what else I’d be looking for, its worked with no issues. I’m running a GTX-970, so not state of the art but no slouch. Very happy.

My grandson said his computer quit. It needed a new power supply. I have a friend who knows his way around computers. We have received and repaired the unit. If it is working properly then its a win win.

Thermaltake no decepciona… varios años de uso sin problema alguno.

Pretty quiet, relatively easy to install. It’s not madly at so obviously there was some difficulty but it was just as advertised.

Was a little concerned at first, but it’s a genuine Thermaltake SMART series gold-rated 600W non-modular ATX power supply. Only difference is it doesn’t come in it’s own retail box. Came sealed in plastic bag with mounting screws. Popped it into my new build and she started right up, fan spinning, nice and quiet. So far so good.
Was glad I could get one since stock on most of the retail Tough Power series are out and very hard to find with a lead time less than several weeks.

Hi, issue I had and posted before was resolved by quick and careful follow through by Platinum Micro, Inc.
Well done, George

Bought a Cybertec from Wal-Mart, power supply died with less than 6 months of usage. This replaced the bad one and works just fine. I’m hoping it lasts but won’t know for a while. Its much better to replace the supply than the computer itself though, much more cost effective. It does have several cables that don’t need to be plugged in unless you have the extra though, so keep in mind when taking out old and putting in the new one.
