Update on performance:
Working solid and been on 24/7 for 2 months. No issues with power delivery for my 1080ti. The product itself is a 5 star psu. Still a bit salty, but I would recommend.
———
First off, this review is a bit biased. I bought this psu to relace a cheap no brand psu that was powering 2 ssds, an 18tb platter hard drive, an i5, and a 1080ti. The case is a htpc case, so not much room on the inside for any excessive cabling. I spent a good hour routing cables and plugging everything in. Then I attached the power cable to the wall and hit the power button… nothing. No indication of power at all. I followed the very limited instructions, but it would not power on. At this point, I wasn’t sure if it was DOA or if I maybe made a stupid mistake plugging things in. I spent another 30 minutes undoing all of the cable management and checking everything. It turns out that for some reason if I plugged the 1080ti with 2 seperate 6pin power connectors, the psu just would not turn on. I tried one cable that has two 6pin connectors on it and although not ideal, it powered up. After another 30 minutes of rerouting the cables, I powered it up and loaded windows, but the 18tb hard drive with all my roms and games wasn’t showing up. Sure enough, due to a lack of flex in the power cable, it completely broke off the backing of the sata power connector on the drive. I know I shouldn’t blame Seasonic for that, but if it had just worked the first time in the configuration the manual stated, this would not have happened. Incidentally, to change out the power supply now cost me over $670. Needless to say I am salty. Maybe add a power indicator led on the psu and make the included manual useful. The amount of time and unnecessary moving of cables in tight spaces could have been avoided. Again, I can’t say I blame Seasonic for this, and the power supply is excellent otherwose, but in 25 years of working with computers, I won’t forget how angry I felt when I discovered the broken Sata power plug on that hard drive.

I needed another 750W PSU to replace my Corsair that was only two years old and having problems. After hearing nothing but raving about how good Seasonic was, I went for this one. SUPER FREAKING QUIET!!! No, really. You can’t even hear it turn on, it’s so quiet. Amazing! The instruction booklet was a little vague in that it did not tell you specifically which cables went into which slots…so if you’re new to PC building or changing out parts, go watch a video or something. Thankfully, I’m not new, though I still had a couple of problems getting it to function. A couple of things I learned:
(1) This includes a tester, which I absolutely love. I read a review or two where they were complaining that you had to hook it up to the computer to test it. This is NOT TRUE. The only thing you need are the new motherboard cable connected to the PSU, the power cable connected to the PSU, and the tester plugged into the end of the cable that normally goes into the motherboard. The booklet instructions are very clear on this.
(2) Do NOT fret if the fan briefly spins and then stops when you boot your PC. THIS IS NORMAL. The fan will not spin when the computer is pulling really low power, apparently.
(3) Replace EVERY cable in your computer with a cable that comes with the PSU (if available). I am not jesting. Do it. Why? Because I found out the hard way (hours later while breadboarding) my peripherals (a CD and DVD drive) were causing my PC to not boot… They were working just prior to changing out the PSU… but because I didn’t change out that one single cable…it kept my system from booting with the new PSU.
(4) If you have to troubleshoot, the booklet is not really going to help you much. If you’ve already checked to ensure all cables are very securely plugged in… Try breadboarding. It’s what helped me find my issue.
(5) If you’re running a PCI-E graphics card (you know, one that isn’t built into your motherboard, take the recommendation and use TWO/THREE cables instead of one. The booklet talks about it, and it’s really clear on this point. No, really. Do it.
Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase thus far. Of course, this is just day one, but it’s already much quieter than the Corsair ever was. People were right about Seasonic. Great product!

After 1 week of use: Fan noise is unnoticeable, power draw is efficient, temperature are great, and quality is solid. Was super easy to install.

Seems to be a great product. Backed by one of the best warranties.
Fully modular, quiet, does it’s job. Nothing to complain about.

I bought the Seasonic Focus GX-650 when my Corsair CM650 started going south after 7-8 years of loyal service. I heard good things about Seasonic’s Focus series and I was looking for a fully modular experience. The 80 PLUS Gold rating didn’t hurt things, since I’m a stickler for thermal efficiency (less energy used = less heat = less fan).
Pros
1. It feels high quality. The I/O switch has a nice click to it as does the hybrid fan mode switch.
2. The cables are very easy to work with compared to some others I’ve tried. Nice and bendable, although the ATX cable is still a bit stiff (as they all are).
3. Fully modular means I don’t have to figure out how to hide cables I don’t need.
4. Mounted easily in my case with no problems. It’s a standard sized PSU, but it feels small for a standard sized PSU.
5. The cables were long enough for my Cooler Master Masterbox Lite case, but only just barely. Taller cases may give you some trouble.
6. Included all the cables I needed.
7. 80 PLUS Gold certified.
8. Hybrid fan mode (when enabled) turns the fan off when the PSU is under a certain voltage and keeps it at a specific speed when under specific voltages. I don’t have this enabled because turning the fan off scares me a little (my GPU and laptop both do it as well), but it’s a cool feature I may enable someday.
Cons
1. Nothing as of yet, but I’ve only had it for a week or two.
Assuming this thing doesn’t die on me in the relatively near future, I’ll consider this a good purchase. The brand has a 10 year warranty on the thing so hopefully if it does break, Seasonic won’t mind sending me another one (or repairing mine). In any case, this is a solid purcahse.

I’ve built many PCs over the years and Seasonic is my go-to for reliable PSUs.
If you’re looking into purchasing a Seasonic Focus Power Supply from Amazon, I must say, it will exceed your expectations in every way. This PSU is an outstanding choice for anyone looking for a reliable and high-performance PSU to power their PC build.
I have yet to be let down by one, so I will continue to purchase them for my builds and recommend them to others. So, If you’re in search of a high-quality, efficient, and feature-rich power supply, the Seasonic Focus PX-750 is an excellent choice.
