I wanted to wait awhile to see if this was going to be OK before I wrote a review.
I bought this to replace a failed HP unit and so far this has worked perfectly. It is quiet and my temps are down 10 degrees C from the HP unit. It also comes with everything needed to install the unit, but I do recommend getting better thermal paste.

Updated: Review based on 120l install on AM4 socket Ryzen 5600x in a SFF case.

I have mixed feelings about this cooler. It replaced my 7 year old EVGA AIO that died.

    1. It does not come with everything you need to mount it to the AM4 socket motherboard. You’ll need the original 2 plastic mount pieces with backplate that came with your motherboard for the included AM4 bracket to attach. This is often removed when you install other coolers. If you kept those in the box or something your good. I lost one unfortunately. I called a local PC repair shop and got the 2 replacment parts same day. You can also order them on Amazon pretty cheap.

    2. The AM4 bracket pieces included are really flimsy and not as well built as the other brackets included. It’s nowhere near the quality of the EVGA I bracket I had. It’s also a bit of an awkward install if your working in a tight space. But it seems sturdy after installing and rest of the hardware seems well built.

    3. The included thermal paste does not come with a paste spreader and it’s the most difficult thermal paste I’ve ever used. Incredibly thick, very sticky, and does not spread easily. However reviews show it works really well.

    4. It’s only been a day and most.of this review has been on on the install. I’ll update the performance later this week.

    5. Update a week after use: Does a good job for the size, I have the 120. Ambient temps in a SFF case low 40s, high 50s under load gaming. Pretty quiet and gets the job done.

Great water cooling, keeps my cpu in the 40-45c range when idle compared to the other one I got from another manufacturer. I did have some issues with it trying to keep my cpu cool while I was using ray tracing on max, it wouldn’t keep the heat down over time using ray tracing AMD and actually shut down my computer. I don’t know if that is because I have a smaller radiator than the cpu wants or what. Design is great and I love hex thermal paste template. Light Design was great.

Never owned a 120mm Water cooler so I was a little skeptical on how it would do compared to some air coolers I had but I was surprised at the results. Kept my Ryzen 7700 at 34C on idle. Beats my AMD Prysim cooler by 4C. Gaming Temps were between 4-8C cooler as well. However the mounting system could be a little better I had some problems mounting it at first otherwise would give 5 stars. The Water cooler itself is basically silent but the fan can get a little loud at full RPM. For 55$ when I got it on sale itโ€™s definitely worth getting.

There is manual in the box. Every part has a letter associated to it in the manual to help assembly. However the letters are not on the parts nor they packaging. There is two bags of 4 Philips screew almost identical. Until you damage the radiator with the longer ones. Than you know those are for the cpu cooler clamp screew and the other 4 is for the radiator. All its need to be done is write the letter on the bag, so we know wich set of screew is that!

This cooler works great. I’m coming from TWO EK CR240 coolers that developed grinding pumps within a month. Installing this, the pump is dead quiet, and using the same fans (Phanteks T30) and same thermal paste across all of them, this runs about 5c cooler than the EK coolers. It could be the large difference is due to the pumps, which seem to have been defective. Either way, this cooler is dead silent and cools well. You don’t have to use all of the RGB nonsense it comes with and deal with a big nest of cables, either. If you just want to install the cooler without fan RGB it’s just the PWM pump header and the fan header on the mobo. You can plug the pump head in to any 2nd gen RGB plug on the motherboard, too. It’s a very clean install overall.

Just recently had an off brand liquid cooler fail and lost a CPU in the process. To replace the failed unit, I purchased the no frills, one fan, version of this cooler based on a 2018 purchase that’s still going strong. It was easy inexpensive relative to the other brand, easy to install (AMD4), quiet, and I have no doubt that it will serve me well for several years.

I bought this to replace a Cooler Master 240 RGB that came with my custom PC 4 years ago. The original one was not cooling anymore. When I received this one, Cool Master product registration product is the worst, you have to go to another website to register, which was down most of last week. This product is suppose to work the Cooler Master MasterPlus and MasterCtrl software to monitor the cooler. Both software programs would not recognize the registered product installed. The product is self was not working correctly, so I contacted Cooler Master technical support and based on issues, such as the lights would not work and the AIO pump was not keeping my system cool enough, Cooler Master recommended that I return the product to Amazon. It is defective. When I started the Amazon return product, it says “This return requires special attention – contact the seller’ Through the seller chat, I said the product was defective and The Seller says the product is NOT RETURNABLE – EVEN THOUGH IT WAS DEFECTIVE and Cooler Master Tech support told me to return it. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SELLER.

Based on the poor seller of these products, I switched to the ASUS ROG RYUO III 240 ARGB All-in-one AIO Liquid CPU Cooler. This product has a better pump, easy to register, and ASUS software works to allow me to monitor the cooler and change colors.

Cooler Master technical support was excellent. Just wish their software and products were as good. But as mention, my last Cooler Master liquid cooler lasted 4 years before needing replacement.
