Minus one star for price, but dang, this is a fantastic mouse. Use it on a glass top desk. (Optical mice and dell laser fared poorly) The laser tech in this baby gives excellent tracking – commendable job Logi engineers. Quiet and exceptionally comfortable. Buttons and scroll wheel are again first rate with low noise and smoothness. The multi connect button on the bottom is so useful when switching between home and wok computers midday. Hope it lasts and the rechargeability function does not make this landfill too soon. We shall see… Regardless, would buy another even for the same $80.

Pros: For a plastic mouse, this is really solid work. It’s my new go-to mouse to replace the awful sticky “touchpad” causing me heartburn over its lack of sensitivity, accuracy, and consistency. This mouse has all of these. It’s quiet. I was expecting a loud click on the buttons; nope, it’s really quiet, and that might be small, but it is an improvement. I don’t need audio feedback to know I clicked. I can feel it (haptic feedback, maybe?) It’s VERY fast out of the box. It connected to my corporate Win10 laptop by BT with zero issues, no adaptors, and no fuss. It just worked. It is comfortable for 10 hours a day chewing through spreadsheets and documents (I know… get a life). All of the buttons work in a way to accelerate my work instead of being a PITA to set the way I hoped they’d work. They worked this way out of the box. No changes. It’s wireless, but you can still use it plugged in with the supplied USB C to USB cable. It is accurate even though it’s fast. Really solid granularity in cursor placement. It’s refreshing that a mouse has all of these qualities. It makes me happy to use it for work.

CONS: It’s a little expensive. My retail price was about $70 (US), which is a little high for a mouse (gamers have their $150 wired mice but this is for an office-only rig). But then again, my car’s replacement fob was $500 and it’s smaller than this mouse, with different, but the relatively same amount of tech, in them. Past reviewers have stated that the sensor-tech finish can become tacky over time (I just got it, so I can’t speak to this). It’s got a battery in it, so as good as it is, eventually, it’ll wear out the battery (I believe it can be changed, but you may not get to that point of replacing a permanent rechargeable with this mouse’s chassis in normal use).

BOTTOM LINE: I give it 5 stars for how it works, feels, my initial user experience and the overall apparent quality of the engineering and parts that went into building a next-level wireless mouse. I’d recommend you buy it if you want a comfortable mouse and you like a quiet no bells and whistles approach of getting work done.

Rambly Tried a multitude of mice. Including the productivity master 3s pro or whatever (the big one with the scroll thumb thing). At first you think you want the big mouse with all the features… but… this is why this mouse to me wins for the best Bluetooth. It’s subjective, but here are the reasons that really stand out:

    1. Ambidextarity (is that a word?)
Do you use ambidextrous mice? Because this feels incredible comfy, and while small, it’s still comfortable. I can grab it with my left hand if my right is dirty while I work. That doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it working on ANY surface along with it being used by either hand? Underrated.

    2. Weight. Do you prefer lighter mice? This thing is only 2/3 the weight of the larger pro Bluetooth mice. Love how light it is. My Mionix Avior 8200 is slightly heavier for reference.

    3. Do you like seamless transitions from pc to pc (or device)?

For me I found the master 3s too heavy, too big, and have fun grabbing that mouse with your left. Oh and another nice bonus? It takes up nearly no room.

This is it. Found my Bluetooth mouse endgame.

If you prefer smaller lighter ambi mice… and want Bluetooth? (For productivity NOT for gaming) JUST GET THIS. Worth every penny.

Black is also a more charcoal which should be noted to those colour obsessed. I love it, as this rambling mess of words has hopefully made clear.

A mouse needs a certain heft to it. This mouse just feels great. Nice rubber sides, the wheel has a great ‘click’ to it and that can be adjusted. It connected super easy, through Bluetooth with no adapters.
All is all a very nice mouse.

I have had my share of computer mice (though usually not very expensive). This is the best one I have had. It feels really smooth gliding across the surface. It has so far worked on all surfaces I have tried it on, including a glass table (not just a table covered with glass, but a pure glass table). Bells and whistles, such as being able to scroll horizontally and being able to change the scrolling speed across a broad range, also come useful. It did have a couple of glitches in the beginning, which were resolved by changing the Bluetooth channel on the mouse (other Bluetooth connections on the same laptop seemed to interfere?). Overall, I highly recommend it.

The MX Anywhere 3S feels excellent. It’s small but heavy enough for precise movements with the Logi Bolt Receiver. I love how it feels, and it works great for video/photo editing and casual gaming. It’s a bit choppy on Bluetooth with Mac without the receiver for accurate adjustments in DaVinci Resolve, Lightroom, etc. For surfing the web and doing daily tasks, it’s perfectly fine.

I switched from a Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro because I wanted a quieter mouse. It’s so silent, and I love that. I hated how I could not adjust any functions on Mac with Razer Synapse. Logi Options+ is mostly fantastic. You can adjust everything, there are several helpful features, and it works great on Apple Silicon. However, you cannot update the firmware on Mac at all. The updater does not recognize the mouse when it’s connected via Bluetooth, USB, or the receiver. This has been an issue for a while, and no one has figured out how to update the firmware for the 3S on Mac. Support does not help.

I like that it can switch between devices, even though it’s not something I would use because Universal Control is more seamless. However, the settings are lost when using Universal Control (e.g., natural/reverse scrolling, universal back and forth with the side buttons, etc.). I work around this with the Linear Mouse app, which detects the 3S on the secondary device through Universal Control. Logi Options+ should be able to recognize and apply saved settings, but it does not.

The battery life is very good, it charges quickly, and the scroll wheel can be switched from feeling smooth to giving tactile feedback.

Overall, I prefer the Logitech MX Anywhere 3S to the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro because of the functionality through the Logi Options+ software and how silent it is. I give it a 4/5 star rating because the Logi Bolt Receiver is required for precise movements, settings do not carry over when using Universal Control, and firmware cannot be updated on Mac.

Got this to replace my old MX Anywhere 2S which I’ve cleaned a few times but it was time for a new one.
This is basically the same, so no surprises and connects to laptop Bluetooth.

Always had the versions with replaceable batteries before getting this one. Love the rechargeable version…acts like a corded mouse when you need to recharge.

Also it is extremely sensitive…whichis a great thing.

Finally it’s probably in the manual but who really reads them, if you roll the wheel down quickly while viewing a web page it will keep scrolling down until you touch the wheel again. Perfect feature for those super long web pages.

Quality is great and feels well made.

…and if works on glass tables, smooth surfaces, and I have even used it on uneven sheets while laying in bed. Works perfect in all cases.

Small enough not to bulk up your travel bag and still comfortable to use. It tracks perfectly on many surfaces and the scroll wheel is delightful to use. I switch this device quickly between 2 laptops without any issues. Highly recommend.

Right out of the box this had a nice look and feel to it. Setup with Bluetooth was a snap but trying to get it to work with the Logi Bolt was another story. Was able to get it to connect but the “verify your device” kept failing. I finally figured out the problem and IMO it should have been spelled out clearly in the online setup. The very last part of “verify your device” is left click and right click. They should just say click “both together” Simple solution that would have kept me from pulling my hair out. Maybe most people don’t have a problem with this and maybe I was over thinking it? Anyway now that the mouse is working I’m very happy with it. To soon to say anything about the battery life but I’m hoping it lasts as long as my old trusty MX 2. Time will tell.
