I had an air fryer/toaster oven combo and replaced it with this air fryer. I love it! It is simple to use, has easy to use presets, and will do about everything my combo did. It’s so easy to clean and does a beautiful job cooking and browning. I would definitely recommend this air fryer.

Got this to replace dead convection toaster , was intrigued by the air fryer option. So: heats quickly, good size, looks ok, toaster setting works well for its needs. Haven’t tried baking yet. BUT on the air frying..you CAN choose the function (air fryer mode) and use the timer, BUT you cannot vary the temperature (what if you need to air fry at 375 or some other temp in a recipe? As far as I can tell, you must modify your recipe,every time manually. E.g., your squash wants 375 for 20 min, but you can only air fry around 425 degrees….so, you must figure out how to,shorten the time to make up for the fryer not having adjustable temp. It DOES flame out if some grease on a crumb falls, but doesn’t have an auto shut off for that..you must unplug and leave oven closed’ and it is up to fate as to how the food comes out. it gets very hot to the touch. Made fried asparagus..marvelous, brown and crunchy; frozen French fries not very impressive . Fine as just a toaster, tho.

I bought this as a replacement for my old B&D toaster oven – which I had for over 25 years. Hopefully, this one will last that long too. The old toaster over had one lever for toasting. Press it down and it toasts for a few minutes, then turns off. With the new one, you first have to turn one dial to “toast”, then turn another dial past “10” (much longer than needed for toasting bread, bagels, etc.) to activate the timer. You then have to adjust the time so the items won’t burn, or watch it to ensure burning doesn’t occur – all while listening to an annoying ticking sound which is constant until the toasting is finished. There’s a bell that “dings” when the toasting is done. It’s kinda loud – not sure if I like that, but I guess some will find it useful.
The tray in the old toaster oven had a handle like protrusion on one side. The new tray, although larger, does not. This makes it harder to grasp the tray using an oven mitt or kitchen towel, without touching the food.
These gripes aside, it works well. I’d probably choose something else in the future though.

I wondered why this one cost so much compared to the last version, which looks identical to this one. The answer: 1. The last version could not control the temperature very well, especially in air-fry mode. So many things got burned because the broiler would stay on to long. 2. This version has much better temperature control. the air-fry is especially good. It cycles on and off and does not go to max temp like the last one.
Overall, worth every penny, GET ONE!!

I have a similar toaster oven that I use at home (another brand) but I wanted a new one for an upcoming road trip. This is the only one on amazon that could be delivered overnight! Easy to use and glad it worked, as I just took it, box and all, on the trip. It is used when traveling, mainly to heat up already cooked food but I have since actually cooked food as well. Didn’t realize it was also an air-fryer. Haven’t tried that function yet. Overall, perfect size, good value. Recommend!
