good suction and easy to turn

This vacuum is excellent. The amount of fur and dirt picked up by this vacuum was incredible. The suction is very strong and it is very easy to dispose of the dirt from the removable canister. The tools that come with the vacuum work great and fit securely on the side of the vacuum. We really like the lights on the vacuum and the crevice tool. The retractable cord is very helpful in quickly getting the job done. Assembly of the vacuum was easy and fast. We really like the quality of this vacuum. It’s lightweight but feels substantial. We feel really lucky to have discovered this vacuum during Prime Days and got it at a great price. I will recommend this vacuum to all of my pet parent friends.

I never thought I’d write a review praising a vacuum but this is so worthy! I have 4 cats so needless to say we see a lot of cat hair around the house. One pass over with this vacuum and my area rugs looks as good as the day we bought them; I haven’t seen them so clean in ages. The carpeting on the stairs, where my cats love to sleep is also restored to its original beauty.
Other reviews mentioned it’s not good on bare floors and I do agree but I have a robot vac for that, this one is solely for getting the cat hair out of our carpets and upholstery. I couldn’t be happier!

Ever played a game of “Find the Hidden Pet Hair”? No? Well, with the BISSELL Pet Hair Eraser Turbo Rewind Vacuum, you won’t have to. This vacuum doesn’t just suck; it’s a veritable black hole for pet fur and dust!
After a long-term relationship with my previous Bissell vacuum (5 years of ups and downs), it was time to move on. My old pal was struggling, especially with the hairball challenges posed by my Five-year-old Lab. Cue the Bissell Lift-Off Pet. It’s like the vacuum equivalent of a superhero – but for pet hair.
The assembly was a breeze, everything just snapped together like Lego bricks. The first test run in the living room was a revelation. It was lighter, glided smoother, and was quieter than my old model. The swivel feature felt like switching from a flip phone to a smartphone – a bit odd at first but amazing once you get the hang of it.
Halfway through the living room, I had to empty the canister – a testament to its pet hair annihilating abilities (and maybe a hint that my dog sheds like it’s her job). The canister was easier to empty than solving a 2-piece puzzle.
Next up: the bedroom and hallway. The amount of hair and dust it picked up AFTER I had vacuumed with the old one was both impressive and slightly horrifying. I wondered if my old vacuum was just an elaborate floor brush.
Using the Pet TurboEraser and lift-off feature on the couch was like a magic trick. Now you see the hair, now you don’t!
Some might grumble about the cord length or its base placement, but honestly, it’s a small price to pay for a living room that doesn’t double as a fur coat factory.
Over a few weeks, this vacuum continued to impress. The clear dust bin is like a window into a world of dust and hair you never knew existed in your home. Yes, the filters take their sweet time to dry, and finding replacements felt like a quest for the Holy Grail, but once you’re stocked, you’re golden.
The vacuum swivels like it’s auditioning for Dancing with the Stars, though it does have a beefier profile than my old Hoover. Not a big deal unless you’re trying to vacuum under low furniture or around certain tricky spots. And it’s a bit top-heavy, so storing it is like playing a mild version of Jenga.
But hey, no vacuum is perfect, and this one’s a gem where it counts. It’s like having a ghostbuster for pet hair – it finds and eliminates it with gusto.
Overall, the BISSELL Lift-Off Pet is a game-changer for pet owners. It might not make your pet shed any less, but it’ll make you care a lot less about the shedding. A solid 5/5 stars for turning a hairy situation into a hairless solution!

After going through a new vacuum cleaner every year because so much pet hair gets stuck in the rollers, I went with this vacuum as it is made for pet hair and claims it won’t get tangled. So far so good! I have 2 Dalmatians and on my first pass through the house I picked up ALOT of hair and dirt, see second photo. The suction seems to work great on my rugs and vinyl flooring. I have always used cordless vacuum, so I was a little upset about the cord, but it’s not the end of the world. I do like that the cord retracts automatically with the press of a button. Assembly of the vacuum was minimal and easy to do. Taking apart and cleaning the debris compartment was easy. My main complaint is that this is a big, heavy, and loud vacuum. It really takes some muscle to push this thing around town and it is not ideal for small spaces. However, for purposes of getting dirt and pet hair up, which was my goal, it gets the job done!

We have siberian huskies and had purchased the Bissell pet one before and it worked amazing, but by our own faults we had somehow misplaced a few pieces of the vacuum anyhow we needed to find a replacement, after a thorough search we were lead to this vacuum, the details of this vacuum fit everything we were looking for, strong suctioning while using the hose, the handle attachment or even just the floor roller, for dog hair, lots of dog hair, lol, compact but not to compact that it couldn’t hold alot in the canister before having to be dumped, detachability so it can go to the car, a bedroom, etc, simple instruction of how to use it, whether with the roller on the bottom turned on or off, where to pull up from for the lift off accessibility, things like that and then we really loved that the vacuum has lights so we can see things being vacuumed before they get vacuumed, this vacuum is great having the cutting ability at the bottom so the dog hair doesn’t make the roller stop spinning was an amazing idea, the cutter IS NOT something you could cut your fingers on FYI, the only downfall I really saw to this vacuum is the space between the roller and its casing is very thin so lots of things that could be vacuumed up with a regular vacuum like pistachio shells for instance would stop the roller from rolling and there’s not enough space to slide your finger in to push it out, you literally have to take the bottom off to get anything that’s slightly bigger out, which I guess you could just use the hand tool for that stuff but I didn’t think to, the best part is that Bissell supports dogs so I will always purchase Bissell just for that fact alone but their vacuums are always a great price for the incredible capabilities these vacuums contain in its self alone, between the new capabilities, the power behind the vacuums and the nice sleek designs the Bissell brands are my absolute favorite when searing for a good vacuum

Out of the box it was easy to put together, the construction seems of good quality, and it’s much quieter than the vacuum its replacing.
After one use:
Out of the box: It did a great job in pulling tons of cat hair (I have 3) out of the carpets, and the accessory upholstery brush worked pretty well on some fabric chairs and my couch. In my small dining room alone it pulled two full tanks of dust and hair out of the carpet with none clogging the brush roller.
The accessory hose is a little bit short, and kind of awkward to maneuver (with the upholstrey tool you have this 2.5 foot long solid wand on three feet of hose connected to the bottom of the vacuum) but that could also be helpful in reaching higher places and vacuuming out corners and crevices.
The accessories seem pretty good. The light on the crevice tool is a little bit cheesy (single LED powered by watch batteries) but still kind of nice to have.
The auto cord winder is nice, but I feel like to get the auto winder, I gave up about 10ft of cord length, which would have been nice to have too.
Seems a bit mediocre on the hardwood floors, but I haven’t had a chance yet to give it a full fair test.
So far I’m very happy with this vacuum, it does exactly what I bought it for (removing copious amounts of dust and cat hair from carpet) and does it well. The accessories and the cord winder seem good right now and for the price I’m happy with the purchase.
As time goes on I’ll update the review, especially if anything breaks or goes wrong. The vacuum I replaced was a hoover pet pro, and it did a fantastic job for almost 10 years before getting old and tired. Lets see if this one does as well.

I’m super impressed with this vacuum. The power it has to pull up dog & cat hair off of thick carpet is incredible. I love the retractable cord and the little lights on it that help you see in the nooks and crannies. It’s a bit heavy and bulky but if you want something with power that can pull up the hair and really give your carpets a deep clean, this is the vacuum you need
Sydney Cichon –
I really should not get this excited over a vacuum but I absolutely love this. Love the lift off function as it makes cleaning the stairs easy. Great suction and works great for kitty litter and cat hair. Only negative is it is a little heavier then expected if you have to tote the entire unit up stairs.

Easy to use and has great suction. The retractable cord is brilliant! It’s super light tho, so using the detachable tools causes this machine to tip over easily.
