Very Powerful “little” machine, the feed tube is somewhat narrower than perceived, so most items need to be cut.
The juice extracted is smooth and free from any pulp, delivers consistently good results, the only drawback is that the pulp is a little moist at times but I’m just a casual juice drinker so that doesn’t really bother me. So far, its tackled everything that I’ve thrown at it.
Practicality, this is truly compact, I had my reservations but it breaks down easily, very easy to clean and doesn’t take up too much counter space.
In brief, this is an excellent juicer, easy to operate, clean and extremely powerful. Only wish I’d bought it sooner.

I’ve used this juicer for about two months now, and I have to say I’m impressed. It does everything it is supposed to do and it’s not very difficult to clean. The resulting pulp is relatively dry. The engine is very powerful and has demolished everything I’ve thrown at it, including whole apples.
Having never had a juicer before, I really didn’t know what to expect in terms of cleanup. Honestly I don’t see how it could be any simpler. Just scoop the pulp out of the collector with the provided tool and rinse in the sink. Most of the parts are machine washable (not the blades, and I also wouldn’t recommend washing the engine ;-D ) and they all seem to be made of sturdy stuff. I haven’t seen any permanent staining or discoloration, but I also haven’t let the parts go without a cleaning for more than a few minutes after I’m done juicing. The juice container is large enough to accommodate a good bit of liquid and there is absolutely no leaking or spillage of any kind. I will say that if you’re planning on juicing for more than one person at a time you might run in to a drawback here, as I tend to drink a full container by myself in one go.
The most bothersome thing about the cleaning experience is the effort it takes to clean the blade. I usually have to soak it for about ten minutes and then scrub it for about five to get it satisfactorily clean. I would imagine that other juicers have similar requirements for blade clean-up. This is one of the items that isn’t really machine washable due to the delicacy of the filter mesh. If anything is going to break on me, I’d bet the blade will go first. Hopefully I’ll never have to test the warranty.
The most enjoyable aspect about this juicer is, of course, the juice! I’ve found a nice recipe that works for me (2 carrots, 2 stalks celery, 1 apple, 1 orange, 1 cucumber, 1 tomato) and this machine handles everything extremely well. I juice about once a day, so I feel like I’ve used this machine more than enough to have developed a solid opinion. I haven’t done anything too crazy with recipes yet, but I will experiment soon.
All in all a GREAT buy for the price. The product looks and feels professional, and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in giving juicing a whirl (pun intended)!

The other one that I replaced this with still worked and would have worked for a long time yet I can imagine – no issues at all, the only reason why I wanted a new one was because it was stained and looked unsightly in my kitchen but please keep in mind… we are talking YEARS of stain and daily use! EVERY DAY! lol – totally got my money out of it and was so happy to buy the same one again! Amazing product. Best juicer EVER!

Don’t be put off by bad reviews… this is a great personal juicer! After seeing some reviews that say it can’t handle greens, I almost didn’t purchase this model, but I’m glad I did.
I bought this to make juice daily for my husband and me. I wanted something that worked well, especially on greens and beets (I wanted to make beet juice to lower my husband’s blood pressure) and I wanted something inexpensive (my husband thought it was a fad and doubted how often we would use it).
It’s not a commercial juicer. It’s not a macerating juicer (those extract more- they’re also more expensive). If you want a macerating commercial juicer, buy something else.
This is an inexpensive, compact (great for my small kitchen), durable, easy to use, easy to clean juicer. It works great- handles kale, watercress, carrots, beets, oranges, apples, ginger, and turmeric with ease. All you have to do is follow the directions (if you go slow, you get more juice). We love it and use it pretty much every day- and my husband lowered his blood pressure and got off his medication. I highly recommend it!

No, I’m not fat, but have always tried to eat as healthy as possible. Although Joe Cross purchased a heavier duty Breville, this one definitely suits my needs for now and was affordable. Not much if anything to say negative about a product I carefully thought out before purchasing, but I’ll set out a comparison “chart” of all the Brevilles so you can take a look. I snagged these from Breville. Cut, paste, and print them out for side-by-side comparison. I’ve also added a few books you might wish to take a look at.
You don’t just get a little pamphlet that is passed off as a user guide, you actually get something more in line with a book (English, Spanish, and French). It includes everything you need to know, especially tips on juicing and a trouble guide. It even includes several recipes under the categories fresh starts, vitamin boosters, liquid lunches, icy coolers, spirited juices, energy fuel, and fiber favorites. After using this juicer, the verdict? It’s affordable, works great, and is an excellent investment toward healthy living.
