Lets start with the things that I love, there are lots of different settings for heat, the display clearly indicates when it is preheating and what temperature it is holding at, and this item looks really coo. It has black and blue sparkles, and when you use the skillet portion and put it on sear, it heats up really quickly and holds enough food to feed a large family. The stir portion fits together with a little rubber seal to keep things from leaking, and the clear top makes it easy to see how your meal is coming along. In therms of challenges, there are a few, but they may be pretty minor for you. The first challenge is where to store this thing: you need a spot that uses up about 12″ by 16″ by 12″ high. Either it lives forever on your counter, or it gets an entire cupboard. The second issue, and again this may be minor for you, is that the lid is not super tight, and when cooking something on higher heat with a lot of moisture in it, the steam escaped from all sides of the lid. We avoided problems with this by making sure it wasn’t under a cupboard. If you are looking for a way to replace your stove and several of your pans, this would be ideal, and then there would be lots of room for it.

I use the recipe in the book that came with the unit. It made fairly good rice pudding except it did not scrape. The rice out of the corners of the pan which turn out to be very hard and not edible. That would be my first complaint. The flavor needed a little morel zest such as little extra sugar. Maybe a little more vanilla. This is a third thing I made in it. I made beef stew turned out excellent. I made sloppy. Joe turned out excellent. So the rice puddings been the only thing that I have not been satisfied with. I’m going to continue trying other recipes. Hope they all turn out good

This is a great item to have for cooking a lot of different foods. It is like a slow cooker and an electric skillet combined. We like the stirring feature, We like having soups and stews in the colder months and this will keep them stirred for you. The searing setting is great for meats and vegetables. It is easy to use and easy to clean.

This is a very useful multi-cooker and mostly works as advertised. The motor which stirs the pot, it can be slowed down to a crawl if you have too many heavy foods in it. I have not found that it will result in burnt food but I can see it happening very easily. Shredding? That didn’t really work out for me, it just pushes the pork rather than shred it. I’d have enjoyed an easy/lazy pulled pork method but this isn’t it.
Thankfully, for me, I didn’t want this for it’s advertised shredding abilities but I really wanted a new slow cooker, rice cooker, etc. As far as that, it’s worked great for me. Lots of functions and options. Pre-programmed buttons make it very easy to use, too. Slow cook, stew/soup, keep warm, steam/boil, risotto, saute and rice. I’ve tested out the slow cook, boil, and rice. Those three worked very well for me.
Non-stick pot is, as expected, non-stick and cleans very easily. It’s also dishwasher safe but I didn’t find that necessary. I just wiped it down.
At 7.5Q, it’s great for my 4 person home. The included accessories are a nice touch. Like the rack and rice basket, I’ll get a lot of use out of those two especially! They also include a recipe booklet which is surprisingly nice. Not what I expected.
Overall, I like it for my needs but it falls short of it’s advertised abilities like shredding and stirring. I can take or leave easy shredded pork but it’s advertised as having that feature and it just flat out didn’t work for me. The motor just isn’t strong enough. As a cooker, it’s great!

I received this recently, and for the most part, I like it. It has a lot of useful cooking options and performs really well for most tasks, such as slow-cooking, sauté and sear, cooking beans or rice, etc. However the stirring feature, which is supposed to stir food automatically inside the pot is a bit underwhelming. The motor appears to be not nearly strong enough and the function does not really work it all if you have heavier veggies or meats inside the pot. But if you’re using the feature with soups or foods with a lot more liquid, it stirs and performs “okay”.
Besides that, though, this cooker is actually quite nice. It is true non-stick, easy to clean and the buttons are all clearly marked and work as intended. Overall, this is a very versatile cooker and a decent value for what you get. Recommended with slight reservations about the stirrer arm and motor.

A great kitchen all-in-one cooking pot. Guide book proved to be useful to manage the programing of the cooking. Cooks rice with ease. Easy to clean and use.
