I got this webcam about a week ago now and so far it works great. I have a home office that I have meetings in quite regularly and I was tired of using my laptop camera because my laptop is usually docked all day long.
I finally pulled the trigger on this external webcam and I’m very happy with it. The video quality is great and the microphone quality is fine for most meetings. Another plus is that you can mount it to a standard tripod mount and I’m using a portable tripod mount that I got for my phone and it works great with it. This way I can just prop it up on my desk. The mount that is used to put on a monitor is very solid and good quality. The magnetic mount is a nice touch. I just won’t be using it unfortunately.
It’s also nice that it works with three different suites of Logitech software so you can use what is most comfortable for you. I like the Logitech g suite and an integrates beautifully.
If you want to use it for facial recognition for your computer, that’s not available but I don’t care about that so it wasn’t an issue for me.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with this webcam and I look forward to meetings where I, being a technical IT consultant, can present so much better now.

Nothing bad about it

Coming from the Logitech C920, this MX Brio is like night and day in terms of quality and smooth video. I love not only the instant quality change, but also the options available for customization within the Logi Options+ software. This camera has made for an excellent secondary camera for me to get alternative shots to my content!

At first, I was a bit skeptical about it actually being a 4K camera considering that many companies out there say that the camera is 4K. I can assure you that this is Indeed, 4K quality. The picture is crisp Clear and I donโt need that you can actually The image quality via the Logitech G Hub app. Not only does this camera Record at 4K 30FPS but it also does 1080 P 60 FPS, now, if the video capturing doesnโt get your full attention, then maybe the noise cancellation powered by AI will. You can also tilt the camera over to get over head shots!! All in all this webcam is worth the price tag that it currently has.

I tutor music students and bought the Logitech MX Brio to improve the visual quality of my Zoom sessions. The built-in webcam on my iMac is okay but coverage is too narrowโmaybe like a 50mm lens (46 degrees)โforcing me to back away so students can see my entire guitar. At 90 degrees, MX Brio coverage is adjustable (90, 78 and 65) and considerably wider, so problem solved. The mount works well once I figured it out and I appreciate the ability to swivel and angle it without moving my monitor. The Brio’s build quality is nice and I like that the body shell is aluminum rather than plastic.
I own a Blue Yeti mic so G Hub was already installed. A dialog box immediately informed me a firmware for the MX Brio update was required. Wouldnโt run otherwise. The FW update repeatedly failed in G Hub. Navigating and searching the Logitech website is not intuitive and I encountered broken links and wrong pages. I was getting ready to return the Brio to Amazon but heard about the Logi Options app from a YouTube video. They had a link to the software and, after installing Logi Options, the FW update finally worked. If you Don’t have a Blue Yeti mic, skip G Hub and just use Logi Options fro the MX Brio.
Image quality of the MX Brio is a step up from the iMac webcamโsharper, more detailed and wider in coverageโbut I hoped for a bigger improvement. Even with a bright LED ring light above my computer, details look a little smeared in my 5K monitor and I see obvious grain artifacts in Zoom and OBS. Video is not as clean as my iPhone and lightyears from my Canon EOS R6 MK II. Iโll stick to my Canon camera for shooting video tutorials and keep the MX Brio on Zoom duty.
The built-in mics of the MX Brio have plenty of gain but sound horrid: hollow, bright and highly compressed. Oddly there are no audio adjustments in Logi Optionsโjust video adjustments. You have to use the System Settings for gain but there is no way to control EQ, compression, limiter, NR, etc. Luckily the MX Brio partners well with the Blue Yeti mic and I sound better than I look! Sync with video and voice was good. You have to choose the Blue Yeti in the various apps otherwise it will default to the horrid Brio mics.
Logitechโs softwareโG Hub and Logi Optionsโworks okay on the Mac but the interface design emphasis is a trendy appearance and accessing functions and features is counterintuitive and not business-like.
Finally, Logitech should include a paper โquick startโ sheet with this product with printed links to a MX Brio page with tutorials and software. At least youโd have a plan to follow instead of wandering through the internet.

I use constantly a webcam the entire day. So for me, a webcam is an investment.
I found this new Brio MX and it is exactly what I wanted to. It is not better than my old Canon DSLR but I can’t use a DSLR the whole day (because of the heat), also the setup of a DSLR is a mess.
Pro:
* I can work the whole day and it works fine.
* Nice aperture angle.
* IMHO, the best webcam on the market.
* It is better than my smartphone (used as a webcam).
Cons:
* It is not recommended for low-dim, it looks grainy.
* It is not better than a DSLR. If you want to change from a DSLR -> this one, then you will feel disappointed.
ps: I don’t know about the quality microphone because I have a dedicated mic.

Logitech MX Brio Ultra HD 4K Collaboration and Streaming Webcam, 1080p at 60 FPS, Dual Noise Reducing Mics.. This was not a cheap item. It was shipped with three other items in the carton. I will be setting it up sometime this week. The reason for the early review is to let you know that when I received the carton, everything was rattling in the box and they were not soft items. Not one bit of packing in the box! I will do a follow up review when I set it up, and I hope there is no damage to my webcam. I now have my webcam up an running and every thing is okay, no damage, thanks to the thick carton that Logitech puts them in. HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Love it. Makes me look pretty for any zoom meetings. Everyone thinks I’m so good looking now lol. Seriously try it out, it’s very good!

The camera is good
The Logi Options+ software is good – not sure why no microphone adjustments are possible, only camera – they also set the basis for the meeting apps to use, and you can change them while the meeting is occuring.
The close shutter function is good, not sure why there isn’t similar a manual off for the microphone – best to unplug in that case.
The USB C cable is quite industrial – would be good if they had a USB C to USB A adapter.
It states it is tripod compatible, note the camera is magnetically attached to the stand, so you pull it up and this is how you get to the screw mount Note – Also its how you can take of the protection tape easily…
It sits well on a monitor (not sure its made to go on a laptop. I think you’d need a mini desk tripod) but I’m not keen on the ‘sticky’ pad, vs rubberized grip of older Logi cameras.
The serial on the camera, doesn’t match that on the box…. and it was a sealed box.
Registering the camera gives you access to a digital manual
Note – Also for me, Amazon originally sent me an already open box which was not a great experience – and re iterated the serial on the box to camera mismatch

This camera performs incredibly well and almost looks like a dslr camera. I am super happy about it. 3x better than the 2017 Brio 4k.

I purchased this product to replace a less expensive logitech webcam. The difference in the camera quality and ease of use is rather dramatic. The images are crisp, and the viewing detail is remarkable. Sadly, the default/auto settings are insufficient for my office, which has varying degrees of sunlight intensity throughout the day. Fortunately, the software (Logi Options+), which I use also for my Logitech MX keyboard and MX mouse, allows for excellent control of image quality. Currently, I’m in the process of setting-up presets for each of those varying conditions. The zoom and pan features, in that software, work great as well. I tested the mic with a friend over a zoom call. He said it was “OK,” but not great. While that was disappointing, it is not an issue for me as I always us a bone-headset for my audio (with my computer and with my phone).
