This bag was perfet for storing my 40-50 box tutrles. I aquired these accidentall y of coujrse, when I was out looking, actually, for melons. THe guy at the melon stand sold me my melons (thankfully, because I”me a melon fiend!!!!) and then said, “Psst, want to see something?” Suspicious though I was, I followed him round the barn to a small area, cleared of grass and marked with chicken wire. But chickens they were not: tutrles as far as the eye could see (and I’ve got 20/20 vision). So He says, “I don’t know what to do with all of these, so take as.many as you want.” I was enamored: I picked up one turtle after another, naming them as I went: Winky, Blinky, Steven, Chubb, Freedom, North Star, Gehngis, Lot, Happy, Harry, Pollock, Courdery, Johnny, Raphael, Chowder, Yurtle, etc., etc., etc. But every turtle I named became mine, and soon enough I have a massive pile of reptile in my arms. THe melong guy, he says: “I don’t take back turtles with names, no way.” Fair enough. So I dump them in my truck but realize when I gethome that I have no where to strore them at home. Most people use. a plastic or glass tank, but I don’t even reall y have space for that at home given my divocorce situation and my wife and all (LONG STORY, BOY, LONGGGGG STORY); so I need to put the turts under mien bed, but how???? VOILA: I DISCOVER THE WHITMORE -18L STORAGE BAG. And you know the rest of this story!!! THe turles live under my bed in this bag. Thakns.

It’s exactly what I expected upon reading reviews, it’s fabric so to get the rectangle shape you need to fill it… but that’s what I wanted it for, storage! It’s stuffed and I had to sit on it to zip it up, the zippers have held even though they’re not super great quality so I’m really impressed with it. You can’t beat that price.

I was hesitant to purchase this bag due to comments about the smell other people wrote about. I decided to give it a try because I have a LOT of sheets and blankets and really want to separate them by size and room and be more organized. I am SO glad I ordered 4 of these!
ODOR: I opened my package and took out all 4 bags and there wasn’t even a hint of an odor. If there was going to be a stink, you’d think with 4 bags there would be, but there wasn’t.
SIZE: These bags are HUGE. Seriously huge. I just bought a king size down comforter, and I thought there’s no way I’m finding a bag to fit it in. This one fit my Down King blanket AND the sheets to go with it. With room left over . Another bag is now holding a Queen Comforter, queen sheet set and a queen blanket.
I got 4 of these bags, so the 4 new sets of bed linens for a king and queen size bed will fit everything quite well.
Now as far as how sturdy these bags are…as long as you’re gentle, I would think the bag will last a while. There’s no handles so you actually have to pick the whole bag up. If you were to just grab these bags by the corner carelessly, I would think the bag will rip. All plastic sides and bottom are thin and the top breathable layer is thin as well. If you were to toss a full bag on the floor, it would probably rip open. So no, in my honest opinion, this is not a very strong bag . When I want to use the set, I’ll just open the bag on the shelf and take out what I need so that will reduce the risk of ripping/tearing/ruining the bag.
I also have a ton of yarn , and I use these bags to store it in. I separate my yarn by project and these bags are great. You can see your yarn and the bags keep it clean.
For me, this bag is doing exactly what I bought it for, to help me organize my bed linens. I can see every item in the bags and it actually looks so much better in our linen closet. And for the price…can you really complain?
UPDATE ; I have every bag in use, with bed linens and yarn. Right now the bags are sitting on a bed in the spare room. No issues opening and filling the bags, and even handling these bags with kid gloves, I managed to put a finger through all but 1 bag. The bags are still OK, the tears aren’t huge, but the whole purpose is to have the items inside protected and to keep clean.
I won’t return, it’s just too much. I’ll keep them and when they’re complete garbage I’ll throw them out and I will not have lost a lot of money.
As of this update – I would definitely NOT recommend these bags for anything.

It’s good for under the bed but not for big shoes.

I’m giving this item 4 stars because it works for me. I just needed an inexpensive underbed shoe organizer with a clear cover. Although the canvas is pretty sturdy this is a 100% fabric organizer without any cardboard backing whatsoever. Sliding it in and out can be a pain and the sides do not stay up very well. But I found 2 simple solutions (shown below) that make it ideal for my requirements.
SOLUTION #1 is very easy. To make this item easy to slide, simply place a stiff piece of cardboard underneath. I had a medium sized cardboard box that when folded flat, was just slightly smaller than this organizer. Now when moving this item, just grab the cardboard and it slides easily in any direction.
SOLUTION #2 takes a little more effort, but I wanted the sides to be stiffer and stay it place. I cut pieces of cardboard from box flaps and placed them on the 4 outer corners. This helps the the organizer maintain its shape. (Another reviewer placed small shoes boxes on the four corners.) I placed a few more pieces of cardboard randomly on the inside walls and it looks more like the product image. To keep the cardboard pieces in place, I used 2 staples for each, making sure to push the staple ends into the cardboard to prevent getting poked or scratching up shoes.
The overall box size is about 22 x 32 x 6.5 inches tall. Each compartment is about 11 x 4 inches. I wear a size 6, so most shoes fit. You can fit 2 flip flops or flat sandals in 1 compartment. This item is not perfect, but with a little bit of tweaking, it does what I need it to, so I did not need to return. I also purchased the boot storage and am happy with my purchases. Hope this helps.

This bag is big and spacious. It can comfortably store two queen down duvets with room to spare.

It started ripping while I was putting my clothes in. I sewed one hole and the handle came off in 5 minutes.

We probably have a dozen or so of these as we use them for seasonal pillow storage (Christmas/Easter/4th of July/Halloween/Fall/Summer). Swapping out pillows and storing them for each occasion is very easy with these bags.

Ok, these are not the most fabulous bags ever, but they are big and can hold plenty of linen. I purchased them to pack my linen in before it went on the box for moving. I know everything will stay clean and will not smell like storage boxes. I’ll likely keep my extra blankets in these breathable bags even after the move is completed. I got 7 of them and one did have a tear. I had a replacement delivered in less than 48 hours. That’s customer service. I have no idea why there are complaints on the filter top. Linens need to breathe. For the price, you can’t get better.
