This was my second rocker bc my husband wanted one too. It’s better to assemble with two people unless you’re a really handy person. I had two different people assemble the rockers. The first had no problems. The second one had some difficulty and needed my input.
With that being said, I love these rockers. They’re handsome, very sturdy, well made, and definitely warrants cushions. With the latter added, these rockers are very comfortable. As a side note, they are rather heavy, which could be good or bad, depending on circumstances. I enthusiastically would recommend these rocking chairs.

I normally don’t submit reviews on purchases, but this time I am because I believe I can help others who follow in my footsteps. I purchased 2 of these rockers and have received one. I assembled it and am very pleased with the final product. However, there are 2 issues with the assembly instructions you may want to think about. First, the package supplies screws in 2 lengths with allen heads. Allen drivers are supplied. These screws are used to attach one piece to another. The screw is inserted into a piece with a larger pre-drilled hole. The other piece has a smaller pre-drilled hole so the screw can “bite” into it. The problem is without any lubricant, you can easily strip the screw head (as I did on the first one), especially if using a drill. I then dug deep into my shop class memories of 1957 and scraped the screw threads against a bar of soap. Then, I drove the screw into the smaller hole with the hand tool and removed it. After that, it was easy to attach the 2 pieces together. The second caution is something I’m going to do when I receive the second chair. I’m going to make step 1 of the assembly the final step instead, This step is attaching the curved rocker “bars” to the bottom of the chair. I see no reason to attach them first thereby creating unstable base(s) for the remainder of the assembly. These pieces are not required for any other step of the assembly. Good luck.

Good quality and easy to assemble.

I bought two for my front porch, along with a side table, and they look great. They are very sturdy, and I love that they are made from recycled plastic. My husband said they were easy to put together.

Love these rockingchairs. Zero maintenance and a 20 year warranty helped me justify the cost. I paid $180 each for them. In my book that’s a bargain. Well built, comfortable and will outlive me! I’m 6’1″ / 205 lbs and fit in the chairs perfectly. They feel like a normal size/ height to me…they do not feel small as another reviewer noted. Assembly was quick and easy. Took about 30 minutes to unpack and assemble two chairs and a side table. I used an electric impact, which definitely sped things up, but could easily be built with the supplied tool. Tip: don’t worry about hammering together the pieces as others have complained about. I started all the screws first, then tightened them all a little at a time to “suck” the pieces into their slots. …it’ll make sense once you see the pieces. You basically have the two assembled sides and screw on the preassembled seat, the back and the bottom rockers. I think it was about 16 screws per chair into pre drilled holes.

There is a difference when you purchase Polywood. Sturdier / heavier / and overall just a better feel than other products. I expect these will last a long time based on feel and looks and Polywood reputation. We keep these outdoors but under a porch. They are exposed to the elements but no direct exposure to sun / rain / snow. My wife loves the color – perfect compliment to our fire pit.

This is an attractive, sturdy rocker. I like that it seems as if it will last a long time and won’t require a lot of upkeep; we liked it enough to order another but not enough for a top rating. Here’s why:
Assembly: It’s not easy to assemble. I’ve put together many do-it-yourself items and for this I had to unscrew a couple of the factory-tightened screws to fit parts properly, as well as use a rubber mallet to assemble the seat in the side frames. The manufacturer DID make a note in step 2 regarding not tightening screws, but be really aware that the WHOLE chair should be assembled with screws before tightening ANY OF THEM. There’s some give in the assembly and with everything loose-ish (along with my trusty mallet) I was able to get all the joints seated. Also take care not to use a power driver if you tend to strip screws out due to over-torquing. A confession: I did not view the assembly video.
Comfort: This chair was also (for either my wife or me) not as comfortable as it could have been. A little larger seat-to-back angle design would be better; the chair makes you sit up straight for sure! We’re going to try getting a pad for the bottom to see if it helps. The rocker bottoms appear smooth enough, but there’s a definite non-smooth feeling when rocking. Hopefully this will wear in over time. The porch surface where this rocker resides is smooth concrete so that’s not the issue.
So- really a mixed-bag review. Compared to similar rockers on Amazon this looked really nice; I wish I could have provided a 5 star recommendation!

This chair is lovely, functional and durable! We have a “Goldilocks” in the family, an adult whom has been known to unintentionally break several chairs in her lifetime due to weight, coordination and movement issues. This chair is the best ever! Assembled easily and is so durable! It is wider than a similar Ll Bean chair I saw recently, making it a good choice for plus sized people. Pair it with a chair cushion set and your Goldilocks might just nod off to sleep rocking in it. We got a white rocker for indoors and added a other (gray) soon after for the patio under our deck. No regrets here!

Very sturdy and easy to assemble. I think I might try it without the top bar on the chair back, so I can tilt my head back to look at the stars.

Bin total begeistert!
